Bernina Sewing Machine - 1630  — 

I have been sewing with My Bernia 1630 for years now and it still sews like a dream.  The features and attachments seem to be limitless and they continue to provide more options yearly.  It runs smoothly & easily--no jerking.  I don't know if I could pick a favorite feature, but if I had to the flashing bobbin light to warn of impending empty bobbin status is one of them that would top my list.  I also like the options of 1) choosing a speed in sewing: slow, medium or fast)  and 2) the needle up or down position when finishing sewing is nice to have.  This is the first computerized machine I had ever used, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I have been so satisfied I have not gone looking for another option.
