Bernina Sewing Machine - 1630  — 

This is a fabulous sewing machine.  It sews in 16 directions, has a 9 mm wide stitch and does everything well.  I love my 1630.  It is NOT an embroidery machine, but if you want a machine for sewing, this is the gold standard.
