You can't resist cuddling under the Berkshire Blanket.

To the Point

Over a year ago my daughter got the Berkshire Serasoft Blanket as a shower gift. It was on her registry at Linens & Things http://www.lnt.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=berkshire%20blanket&origkw=Berkshire%20blanket&sr=1

or just type the name of the blanket in the search box at into www.lnt.com. It's as good now as it was then.

A Closer View

She wanted this as a blanket to cuddle under while on her couch. The prices range from $20 to $50 depending on the size. You can choose twin, full or queen/king. She chose the largest size and in the color chocolate. It also comes in red, blue, sand, sage, sand, white, truffle, and ivy.

The blanket is made of 100% polyester and can be machine washed on cold and machine dried. It is so soft! One side is obviously the top side and the fuzzy side and the other side is smoother. It's beautiful and so warm. She has not had any pilling.

This makes a great and affordable gift. I can't imagine anyone not loving this. By the way I bought what I thought was a similar blanket for 1/4 of the price and took it to her to give as a gift last holiday season. I ended up returning it because the copy cat was just not even close to being cozy and soft.

My husband and I put the berkshire blanket on our wedding registry. We love it! Its so soft and durable for only $25! I can't help but twirl myself in it. My husband and I fight about the blanket. We went back to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and bought 2 more! One for me, One for him, and one for our boxer. She cuddles with us on the couch. Worth every penny! They also sell pillows for the couch. Best couch pillows, too. Our boxer thinks the pillows are stuff animal toys. She has shredded 4 pillows! We went back for 2 more. We are hesitant to get them out of the bag. We have a well-behaved dog! Something about those Berkshire pillows! :) It seems we would give up on the dang pillows! Nope, its so addicting. We love to take naps and cuddle on the couch. We recommend the Berkshire serasoft blanket and pillows. PS My sister and brother-in-law loved ours so much....They own 3, too!

And it was this brand? I know there are tons of copycats. This one is super high quality. The kids have had no problems in whatever - the two years they've had it. I'll check to see if you've reviewed it. It's always good to have differing views:) Jo

It sheds all over the place and is hard to clean up! I spent over an hr with a vacuum fabric brush trying to clean it up the mess it makes. The fibers get everywhere! I had the company replace the blanket for me directly. Just got the new blanket today was warehouse dirty (other lint etc.)washed it by following the directions and it sheds. Major disappointment. It's almost as if they just folded up my original blanket and sent it back to me. Avoid buying this product!

Sounds very comfy. I love soft blankets. Of course my dog would probably steal it.
