Berkley & Jensen Baby Formula with Lipids DHA & ARA Review Summary

Our parents are definitely impressed with the generic Berkley & Jensen Baby Formula that is available Berkley & Jensen (BJ's) Wholesale Club stating “it is exactly the same as both Enfamil Lipil and Similac Baby Formulas for a fraction of the cost.” Not only are our reviewing parents happy with B&J's Baby formula, babies like it too. One mom states “[my son] does great on this as he did on the Enfamil with the benefit of getting more formula for the money.” The only con our reviewers could find with the Berkley and Jensen Baby Formula... the can is tall and narrow making it difficult to scoop out that last bit of baby formula. Read the reviews then compare B&J's baby formula to others with more baby formula reviews.

My daughter has been on Similac since birth since breastfeeding did not work out for me unfortunately.  I still feel guilty about that like I could have done anything else about it just like I felt guilty about even considering generic formula.  That was until I went to BJ's and saw the price difference.  Trust me, I felt guilty about even thinking about money when it comes to my baby, however, the extra money could be use for her college fund.  I spoke to my doctor about generic formula and he said that baby formula is so strictly regulated by the FDA that the difference is miniscule if there...

I breastfed all of my other children, when the fourth one came along i was heartbroken to find after a month of trying to get my milk supply really going, it just wasn't working, i had been supplementing but at that point i went completely to formula.  I had seen bulk enfamil at BJS and when i went to get it i saw this BJS brand and decided to give it a try.  Boy am i ever glad that i did.  My baby is growing like a weed, he has the most beautiful peaches and cream skin, and he is SO healthy.  I don't think i have ever seen a kid that smiles as much as he does at only 3 months old.  Thanks... review »

Berkley and Jensens generic formula is double the size of most powdered formulas so you are not buying it as often as its smaller counterparts. Occasionally, Berkley and Jensens offers it members coupons for it but at less than twenty dollars, it is still a great bargain. It's nutrients match Enfamil Lipil with Iron toe to toe. The Berkley and Jensens formula is not as fine milled as the Enfamil Lipil with Iron but according to my husband they are similar in taste. So, if you have a BJ's near you, just purchasing the formula is worth the membership of forty-five dollars.

When we our free samples of formula ran out and we had to start buying formula we were hoping to save money.  My husband went to BJs and bought Enfamil Lipil and asked our pedi if the generic would be okay to use.  She highly reccomended trying a generic.  For $10 less than Enfamil, we get a third more product.  I do agree that the can is too narrow as you get to the bottom but I dump it into a shallow Tupperware container.  I have reccomended this formula to another new mom who also loves it.

My son who was breastfed need some formula to supplement.  I went to BJ's to buy some formula and to my surprise found that BJ's makes there own formula that is exactly the same as both Enfamil Lipil and Similac for a fraction of the cost.  I was able to get a 51 oz. can for only $19.99 when Enfamil Lipil 12 oz. cans will cost you about $15.00.

This formula was great.  Our son liked it and we liked knowing that it was the same quality as the name brands but that we were saving alot of money.  We tell everyone we know that has or is having a baby so that they too can save some money while giving...

We tried Similac because we got a ton of free samples then weaned her to Enfamil becuase that is what the daycare is going to use (provide). DD wasn't enjoying it as much as Similac & we found her spitting up. I thought maybe the consistency was different because Enfamily power is much finer. Later that week I was at a baby shower when another new mom told me about BJ's brand formula. She explained that it was denser and much cheaper. We decided to give it a whirl. Well, DD LOVES it & the spitting up stopped. I'm so glad I got the recommendation from a friend because I don't know if I would have...

Our son was born in June and was breast fed but I did supplement.  Our son didn't do so good with the Similac Advance so we went to Similac Sensitive, then after about a month,  I switched to Enfamil due to him spitting up alot on the Similac.  My husband and I looked over this formula and compared it to Enfamil when we were shopping at BJ's and decided to give it a try.  This was the best investment.  Our son loves this formula!!!!  He does great on this as he did on the Enfamil with the benefit of getting more formula for the money.
