Everything you've ever heard about Ben Gay is probably true. Yes, the extra strength will open your sinus cavities and may burn your eyes, but the real truth is  "IT WORKS". I hate taking pills, I much prefer to use topical medications. I have always avoided Bengay because of the smell and stereotype that goes along with it. — I finally decided after many days of my hands aching to give it a try, and what a diffence it makes! Yes it is a little smelly, but as my daughter said - "it smells like peppermints in here".
