Killer abs? You may FEEL like you died after doing this workout.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

**Quick View: **When I ordered my Crunchless Abs DVDs, I was offered The Bender Method of Core Training DVD and Ball for an extra 10 bucks so I said sure, why not? I never really stopped to think that I was ordering a crunchless program because crunches hurt my neck. Still, this method works pretty well but it isn't all that special. You could easily do the same exercises with any small inflatable ball.About The Bender Method of Core Training DVD and BallThe makers claim that using the Bender Ball makes crunches 408% more effective than regular crunches. If that were true, I would only have to do one a day and be done with it. The ball is flimsy. It needs to be inflated w...

Rip off designed to sell you videos at $27 a month, don't do it!

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

This seems so nice on TV and the ball is effective.  What they don't tell you is it costs more to ship the item than to pay for it (advertised at $9.99).  That's okay and it's also okay that the video they send features an instructor with a muffin top over her tights.  The problem begins with the cross sell where someone calls and tries to get you to purchase overpriced vitamen supplements while making you think this is part of your package.

The next dupe is that unless you cancel the subscription within thirty days you are hooked into receiving a video each month for $19.99 plus $6.99 shipping.  They bill this automatically to your credit card and h...

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

I CAN'T EVEN GIVE THEM 1 STAR!! First off I ordered this product through their 800 number, after the autamated voice took my information, which took forever. Then it tried to sell me more or sign me up to all these "free" memberships. I wanted to hang up but I feared that by doing so I would be signed up for things I did not want.  After 10 minutes of this I didn't want the product anymore, but at this point there was no way out. I had already given them too much information. Once the call finally ended I just hoped the product would be worth it. 3 weeks later I was charged $69.80 on my card from Bender ball!!!! I had ordered a product for $9.99 plus shipping an...

Bender Ball is Great...When Purchased in a Store

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I was going to buy the ball from the commercial  because of the low 9.99 price being offered.  I asked around first, however, and learned that they charge you for a number of other products which skyrockets the price.  So, I did the next best thing: I bought the Bender Ball, which came with the Core Training, Select Core Training, and Healthy Back DVDs, from Target for 19.99.  The workout is amazing!  I feel it in every part of my abs whenever I use it.  I'm a law student with very little time to spare for exercising, so pairing the short workout times with a little tip on my exercise bike is ideal.  The exercises are straightforward and to the point. ...

SCAM... Don't buy this piece of junk!

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

I purchased the ball and first... the process, they put you through 10 minutes of try automated... selling of other products not related at all to the ball... before you can complete the transaction...HORRIBLE!!! The charged for services I said no to and I had to call, wait on the phone and try and stop this billings. Then they shipped me 2 ball ...which I DID NOT order. THEN, I had to pay $7 to return it because Customer Service demanded I have return receipt and tracing.

NEXT... the ball comes with a tiny white straw that you are suppose to blow into in order to inflate this ball.. You CAN NOT get it totally inflated. NO WAY!

And they the tape is short and has virtually nothing of an value on it. You just make up your crunches and do a better job!

Cheap product!!! Poorly made!!! They are ripping everyone off who is buy this piece of junk

My suggestion, don't wast your time or money on a Bender Ball.

This product isn't bad...if you're smart.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

Okay so 1st.  I never order anything over the phone for the reasons all of these people have stated.  I ordered it online knowing I would be paying 30 off the bat.  And the order process online only took 5 minutes and you can physically see all the fine print so I knew when to click no and whatnot.  If you do not know what you are doing, you will get sucked into alot of different purchases.  But I got my ball 2 weeks after I ordered it (exactly how long they said it would take)  and it is not supposed to inflate completely, or you will pop it.  Mine inflates fine and the exercises are a guide.  I admit they could be more in-depth but I have been using it for 15min a day for 4days a week for 2 weeks and are already seeing results.  I absolutely love how easy it is and how it is helping my lower back pain.  Like I said, if you are intelligent about the process and know what you are doing, it is actually a good deal.

Company Scams You With Automatic Enrollment

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

I deliberately ordered this item online to keep myself from getting all the additional products. I received the video and ball was happy with my purchase but then the next month I get a debit from them in my bank account. When I call the customer service I am told I was automatically enrolled and more dvds were on there way. I told them NOWHERE did I accept a program, which you wouldn't have, it's automatic. So now it's too late and I have to wait for the mail and pay to ship it back. When I asked if they would be paying for my postage to send it back I was told no.What a scam, please don't buy into the product, not worth it. I would head over to Bob Harper's site and buy his $5. videos.

Shady Company

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

When you buy a Bender Ball you sign up for a subscription service.  They will continue to take money out of your account in exchange for crappy DVDs, sometimes, as in my case, after you cancel your subscription. When I realized this was a subscription service, I called to cancel on April 4th.  I saw that the company removed money from my account on April 9th.  I called to complain and was told that their system was down and my cancellation could not be processed, but that someone would call me in two days.  No one called.  In the meantime I wrote an email from their website, then called April 16th.  My cancellation had been processed, but I was told that m...

TOTAL SCAM!

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

TOTAL SCAM! If you like to mysteriously be charged then sign up for this product ASAP! Once you give this company your credit card they totally take advantage of you. You will get charged every single month for stuff you never ordered. When you call customer service they say that it is taken care of and then the very next month you are charged again. It is a total scam and just aweful! The product doesnt even work right. They basically give you a coffee straw to use to blow up this ball, which is impossible. Then you kill your hips and back doing the exercises. There are no results in your abs though. I have called several times to cancel the mystery orders, but it is no use. They keep coming. If I want to return them the I am responsible for shipping it back to them. So they are costing me more money for something I never wanted. It is an uncontrollable mess. DONT ORDER!

This sucks big time

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

This is a piece of crap; does not do anything near what it is suppose to do; this is a back killer; does not inflate all the way; very poor customer service; they shipped items that I did not order and when I sent back they never gave me full credit.  You get stuck paying for the shipping even though it was their screw up.  Took over two weeks to get, but they charged the credit card the minute they got the order.  I cancelled all future shipments from them.  But two weeks later they charged my card again.  I called and told them to put my money back and that I did not want their piece of crap.  She told me the item was in the warehouse and has not shipped.  Well it shipped out anyway a week later and I still got charged for the shipping charges.  guess this is the only way they are going to make money.  sure learned my lesson of ordering from tv.

Learn to use it correctly and it will deliver what it says!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

For those of you that have ever watched the TV infomercial for The Bender Ball and thought , "OK, it looks kinda cool but like all that other TV stuff, it probably doesn't do what it says it will." YOU'RE WRONG!  If you've ordered this product and not gotten it as quickly as you'd like, well, anything you order off TV takes 4-6 weeks usually.  Order off the internet site and you will get quicker shipping and don't have to deal with a crappy customer service company that was hired to answer the phone and take orders (not by Leslee herself, mind you).  Sometimes you'll even get a better deal off the internet. Anyways, anyone that HAS bought the product and complained about ...

The Bender Ball is the best ab workout I've seen in a long time!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I am thrilled with my purchase and am happy to post a positive review!  I've worked out for 10 years, have been in Oxygen magazine, and have tried every stability and balance routine under the sun. Never before, have I felt so strongly about a product.  My abs literally shook as I completed the exercises! They were 100% engaged. I knew I would definitely be sore in the morning, but, to my great surprise, I was sore the very same day. (I work my abs 2-3 times a week with a 15 lb medicine ball, and I run; my abs have not been sore in years.)   The workout wasn't painful because of the support the Bender Ball provides to your back.  I am very happy with this product.  Let's give this thing another chance!! It works, and I've got the 6-pack to prove it! :-)

COMPLETE SCAM DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

This is a complete scam. I ordered it online and NOWHERE on the entire website does it tell you about all of the automatic enrollment programs that it comes with. In the last month my bank account has been charged $30 6 times for their "special offers" which I was supposedly informed of upon ordering. THEY ARE  LIARS AND NOTHING BUT A SCAM. The ball is nothing mroe than a cheap playground ball that goes flat after the first time you use it. I've called customer service at least once a week since the day I got the ball in the mail. They claim that I've been removed from all of their programs, however they never fail to find something else to charge me $30 for. DO NOT BUY.

I love it. But be careful

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I love it. My favorite thing is that she has a little roll on her belly- just like me. It was an easy thing to use. Just dont inflate the ball all the way. It was much easier to use that way. THey will keep sending you videos unless you cancel them thought. You have to call and talk to the support people and they aren't very nice. It was a hassel to send the videos back. Just cancel the subscription right away. I bet they make a lot of money by people being too lazy to send the first video back. Other than that it is an easy to use product. It is too earlt to see about results so I cant help there

Decent Product, but Do Not Purchase Directly From the Company

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I like this product and think it provides a great ab workout. The DVD is easy to follow. However, I bought my 1st Bender Ball directly from Leslie Bender's company and it was a terrible experience. They charge a ridiculous amount for S&H, which they won't refund if you return the item. Then they automatically sign you up for their program and keep shipping you stuff and charging your card until you cancel. Canceling is difficult at best - long holds, customer service reps that don't get what you want them to do, etc. I wound up have to dispute charges through my credit card.

I bought the 2nd Bender Ball (gave first one to my sister) through Ebay and it was GREAT! You get a better price, often the S&H is free, and you don't get stuck with the automated shipments.
