I just finished a "Bend in the Road" and I must say that it is definetly not my favorite Nicholas Sparks book. It isn't as romantic or as touching as his other novels and I felt almost like I really didn't get to know these characters or see/feel their relationship branch out because it was so engrossed... read full review »

I borrowed this book from a friend, along with a few others written by the same author...Nicholas Sparks. For some reason it took me till almost the end of the book to finally get into it, I think it has to do with the slight *repetition that appears in Spark's books. After a point I enjoyed the book very much, however this is not anything that I would read more than once.

 

* I just wanted to give a few examples of the repetitions I came across while reading a few Spark books...I noticed alot of single parents or soon to be single parents, 2nd grade teachers or kids being in the 2nd grade. And...

Nicholas Sparks is my very favorite author.  His writing is so true to life.  The love and feelings he puts into words are outstanding.

I cried many times when I read this novel.  You can get lost in his writing and you never want it to come to the end.

I highly recommend this novel.  It will keep you glued until the end.
