On many occassions I have had to give my granddaughter the Benadryl Children's Allergy Chewables. Before this I had to get really sneaky when it came to getting the liquid allergy medicine into her. Believe me her father was not this bad.    MY granddaughter would get so sick with her allergies. She would run a fever, not be able to eat,and generally was just a lump of coal. On top of this trying to get any kind of medicines into her was like having a root canal without novacaine.  The doctors always said the same thing- it is just allergies, it will pass. I praised the heavens to be when her parent found Benadryl Children's Allergy Chewables.Now my granddaughter takes her allergy medicine without any fuss. She even likes the fact that she can give the chewable to herself. It puts more of the control in her hands. That is the part that I like the best. Medcine time has improved so much since Benadryl's Chewables for children.

These chewable Benedryl tablets are designed for children.  They are produced in the children's dosage and grape flavored so they taste good.  However, I have found these terribly useful for my own allergies.  I have environmental allergies and they act faster than a regular tablet if you are having an attack.  Of course to get the adult dosage you have to take twice as many tablets, but if you're desperate its worth the cost.  I also have a life threatening peanut allergy so I carry a couple at all times in case of emergency.  They can get a little expensive if you're taking twice as many for an adult.  But I think they would be quite reasonably priced for a child.  Each tablet is encased in a blister pack.  You have to snap off the corner of the plastic and then use that to pull the backing off so you can then push the tablet through the foil.  I know they're designed to keep kids out of them, but if you have bad hands they can be tough to get out. They taste really good, but I feel like I get a little bit of a numb sensation in my mouth for a few minutes after taking them.  It could be my imagination.

I bought Benadryl Children's allergy for my son who gets allergic reactions. I haven't pinpointed exactly what gives him allergic reactions but when I gave him benadryl the hives on his skin would go away fast. Even when he has those days of sneezing and itchy watery eyes benadryl does the trick. I am very happy with this product, love that it's easy chewables and the flavor helps him too.

Benadryl Children's Allergy Chewable tablets are great for allergies. They take away all the symptoms, like red, itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, etc. They are easy to take. My kids just chew them up. They come in a few different flavors that my kids like. The liquid Benadryl is also great but alot messier to give than the tablets. There are two bad things about Benadryl. Benadryl is on the more expensive side but you do not need a prescription. Also, it makes my kids very sleepy, so I try to only give it to them at night. I cannot give it to them when they go to school because they are groggy during the day when they take it. However, it helps better than other allergy medicines. So, if their allergies are really bad, they function better after taking the Benadryl than suffering with the red, itchy eyes and sneezing. I would definetly reccomend childrens Benadryl for your kids allergy symptoms.

I suffer from a lot of allergy problems especially when the cold season comes around. I take chewable tablets and I am an adult so it can be tricky to find a medicine that works for me. After taking this product, I felt so much better. I would gladly recommend this product to anyone who has severe allergy problems!
