Bellagio - Las Vegas, NV Review Summary

The Bellagio is a favorite of leisure travelers. Convenient location on the strip, amazing pools, excellent service, easy navigation, a great Cirque du Soleil show and classiness are just a few of the many accolades given to the Bellagio Hotel by our reviewers. On the negative side, a stay at the Bellagio isn’t cheap and some customers have had issues with spotty housekeeping. Keep reading, there are plenty more travel reviews at Viewpoints!

We recently took a long weekend and headed to Vegas.  Now, most people either love Vegas or hate it.  I actually don't fall into either camp.  I've been there a few times and I'm sure I'll be back, but it's not on my top 10 (or 20) places to visit.  That being said, we had a great time at the Bellagio. ...

Well, it's a very nice and beautiful setting and the wait staff is very attentative.  But, it's ridiculously expensive and the food is rather on the skimpy side.  Which, that in itself isn't so bad, but it's also not fantastic tasting, either.  Expect to spend about $60 - $100 per person generally... read full review »

I have been to Vegas many times. I have stayed everywhere on the strip and can with absolute certainty tell you that the Bellagio Hotel is by far my FAVORITE!

Now, I must admit that I am not a huge gambler. So, if you are looking for hotel advice from a crack gambler, it's not me. But, if you are someone who is a little scared to go to Vegas because you think it's cheesy, then, my advice will likely be good for you.

Here's what is great about the Bellagio (in order!)

  • It is one of the only hotels on the strip that feels like it has some class. The people arent typically rowdy and obnoxious, it isnt...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Bellagio. I would not do Las Vegas any other way. Don't miss out on O. It is a great circ del soleil show. They also have a nice buffet but it is not cheap. If you want to eat at any of the restaurants in the Bellagio, get your reservations in advance. They fill up quickly. Oh, and another quick tip- they give 10% off if you are a AAA member.

I love living in Las Vegas because it gives me the chance to visit the different hotels and each hotel is a little different.  The Bellagio is so upscale and beautiful there is absolutely nothing to dislike about the property.  As you walk into the main lobby make sure you stare up at the beautiful painted ceiling and immediately walk to the Conservatory.  You will be surrounded by beautiful flowers whose theme changes seasonally to reflect different happenings in Las Vegas.  The rooms are very comfortable with a huge bathroom area and a wonderful bathtub to relax while you are on vacation. ...

I have been to the Bellagio in Vegas 4 times and i gets better every time, there is always something new and improved and their Botanical garden changes themes and flowers with the seasons and is breath taking!  The service is outstanding, the rooms like home (sometimes better) and the food is amazing, the nightlife, the casino, you never have to leave your hotel to enjoy yourself for 2-3 days!  Nothing beats vegas, except maybe if it was on a mexican beach, hahahaha!  Try it!

Bellagio is at the top of my list for luxury hotels in Las Vegas.  Located on the center of the Las Vegas strip, The Bellagio Hotel and Casino has so many things to see and do.  It lights up so pretty, and it is so beautiful to see.  The Bellagio is one of my favorite places to visit when I am on the strip.  It is definately one place you do not want to miss.

The first thing you will notice when arriving at The Bellagio is the water fountains.  Now this is not any old water fountain, yet it is a spectacular show.  The best time to watch this free show is in the evening, where...

We were in Vegas to attend a gift expo in early March, and stayed at Bellagio.  The room was larger than standard rooms, updated furnishings, plasma TV, remote controlled window treatments, mini-bar, and very clean and quiet.  The bed was heavenly.  We had a view of the gorgeous garden/pool area.  The check-in is a good walk from the elevators, so check your luggage and once you're in your room, call to have it brought up.  Saves from having to drag it through the casino.  Can't comment on the restaurants, but we had drinks at the Petrossian which we enjoyed, not diluted either.  The conservatory...

If you like seafood, this is the best buffet in Las Vegas.  It has all you can eat crab legs, shrimp, oysters, etc.  I suggest that you take something to crack the crab legs as they are hard to crack open.  Everything is so fresh and abundant.  The servers are very friendly and it's very clean.  After the meal, you can go for a walk through the garden where they have such a beautiful array of flowers in every color you can imagine and in different shapes.  Make sure to take your camera because there are some breathtaking views.

If you're planning a trip to Las Vegas this is a must-see place. ...

I recently went to Vegas with my boyfriend, his brother, sister-in-law, and her sister.  The last time I was there was 14 years ago with a group of college friends.  Let me just say "WOW".  I couldn't believe all the changes and new hotels.  The Bellagio I must say is at the top of the list as most beautiful hotels in Vegas and the water shows are awesome and awe inspiring.  Unfortunately, we didn't stay there but we have decided that it will be our choice for our next visit.

i stayed at the hotel once and i thought it was wonderful. the room was really nice and they gave had a nice gift. it was a red velvet box with a gold dragon on it with chocolate inside. i believe it was for chinese new years. i had a great room because it faced the water show in the front. i havent been able to stay there since that one time because it was too expensive. another thing is that the music from the show could be heard from the room. it was okay, but i can imagine it bothering some people.

I went with three other people for a conference and loved it. The room I had was spacious and very nice.  However one of the people traveling with me had a much nicer room and one had a worse room. The hotel is beautiful but to do anything in it is expensive. Went to Le Circe for dinner, the food was good but not great for what it cost. You could see the fountains from our table thought. The best part is Jean- Phillipes. If you stay at the Bellagio you must stop by there for breakfast.

My husband and I didn't stay in the hotel it self, but visited Bellagio for the fountains and it was beautiful.  We also went in the conservatory when it was Christmas time.   It was lovely.

We went to Cafe Bellagio and I had the banana foster waffle.  It was very good.  But the diet soda for my husband and regular tea for me was 4 dollars, so not cheap

No not long island iced tea, just regular iced tea.

I loved the Bellagio.  The decor is amazing.   The glass ceiling in the lobby takes your breath away.  The botanical garden is awesome.  I have never slept in a more comfortable bed.  I left 5 pounds heavier the buffet is well well worth the cost.  The pool promenade is a wonderful place to relax!!!!  Give it a go this hotel makes you feel rich even if your not and is well worth the money.

I planned a trip to Vegas for my and my husband who had never been before, i have frequently stayed at the Bellagio previously....and I absolutely love it and so did he....the rooms are always ready and spotless and the staff is so persistant with their responsibilities. I have yet to experience a bad time at the Bellagio.
