I have two other old style waffle makers but they really are a hassle. When I got this on sale I was very happy with the results. It rotates to promote even cooking and has a drip pan for all of the extra batter which if you're like me, will be splattering around. Very easy to use and easy to clean as well. It also folds up to conserve space. It's a very nice well build convenient appliance. Performance It cooks very consistently and the waffles come out great with a golden brown color. Just the way they are supposed to be. The non stick surface is nice too although you can spray a little Pam or release spray in case. I haven't had to yet as the are very easy to get out. Settings/Features There is a browning control which is like a toaster control for lighter or darker waffles. Ease of Cleaning This appliance is very easy to clean. Ease of Use It's very simple. You turn it on to heat up. You put in the batter, wait, it's done and you turn it off and that's it. Durability I haven't had this for too long so I'll have to wait to see how long it lasts. However it looks well built and with normal use it seems like it should last quite some time.

I have had multiple 'cheap' waffle irons in the past, and they never seemed to be convienent enough to use on a regular basis. This one I picked up for a steal at a Black Friday sale and we couldn't be happier. Once you adjust the settings to fit your preferred waffle type, it is smooth sailing from there. I have used commercial mixes, pancake mixes, and my own blend, to make the best waffles ever. And the light switching off makes it EASY to tell when your waffle is done. Easy enough for me to use it on school mornings for the kids. Performance I loved the way the machine flips over and a light illuminates when the waffles are done. It takes the messy guesswork out of making waffles. It does need antistick spray to ensure the waffles do not stick to the irons. Settings/Features The flip function, thick grip handle, and the done light make this the best waffle iron I have had yet. Ease of Cleaning It is difficult to clean only in that you have to be careful not to submerge the heating element, but the irons themselves wipe clean with a little bit of effort. Ease of Use It takes a little practice to learn how the machine works to your special likes, but once you have the settings right, drop your batter in, close, flip, and wait for the light to ping! Durability We have only had ours since Christmas, but so far it is standing up to rigorous use!

I definately don't have anything good to say about the Bella Cucina Waffle Maker, their customer service or warranty. I was super excited to receive this waffle maker for Christmas from my sister since I love waffles. We have only used it a couple times and it is already messed up. My husband decided to do something nice and make waffles one morning. He noticed that one of the very important screws that holds part of the lid together was falling out. As he looked closer he could see that there is absolutely no possible way to tighten it because of its position. So I thought i'd call their customer service line since it was still under warranty. That was a horrible mistake on my part I guess. They were extremely rude and disrespectful to me and acted as if I had deliberately loosened the screw. I finally was so aggravated and annoyed that I just hung up the phone. I would recommend you avoid buying this product if possible.

I have always wanted a rotating waffle maker after using them at several hotels. I thought it would be so fun for when company is over. I have yet to try it with guests, but overall I am mostly happy with this wafflemaker. My main beef with it is that when I put the lid down and am preparing to flip it, many times the handle will not engage, preventing you from turning it at all. I then have to try to shut it hard 5 or 6 times, until it finally engages and I can flip it. So, that is frustrating, but I will say it makes gorgeously golden waffles. I am used to always using non stick spray with my waffle irons, but this one says to only use butter, which has worked beautifully. Clean up is really just a little wipe down, and the drip pan is really nice for spills.

I got this for under ten bucks after mail in rebate as part of a Black Friday promotion, so I didn't expect much from it. I've used it a couple of times and it seems to be a decent little waffle maker. It doesn't make a lot of drips, has a little catch plate for any batter that does escape, and is fairly easy to clean. The waffles it makes are a little uneven in color, but don't really seem to to over or under cooked on the inside. I like that it stores pretty small on the shelf when you rotate the cooking unit vertically. It is very simple but that also makes it easy to use. It has minimal controls and options, but it does the job just fine. Performance does the job Settings/Features not a lot of options, but it doesn't really need it Ease of Cleaning so far so good Ease of Use pretty much self explanatory Durability seems OK, should last a year or two.

This waffle maker is easy to use and makes an excellent waffle if you pour the batter in right. Let's just say it took me some time to get something that resembled a waffle, but this is my first time trying a product like this. I will say that once I got the batter right, this machine produced a perfect waffle every time. Performance This waffle maker has an excellence performance when the batter is measured right and the controls are set properly. Settings/Features This is the only waffle maker that I have ever owned, so I assume that the settings on these machines are fairly standard. With that in mind I would say the settings and features are optimal for performance. Ease of Cleaning As with any product that requires the profuse spraying of oil, the cleanup can be a little messy. It would be nice if the grill part was detachable so that it could be put in the dishwasher. Ease of Use This product is very easy to use. You just spray, pour, cook, and eat. Durability I have not used this product very much, but I would suspect that on frequent use it would fall apart.

While I thought this would be great, the fact is that it wasn't. The unit is very unstable and almost sits on an angle. This makes batter pours out of the waffle maker and onto the plate below. This creates a huge mess and increases clean up time. Waffles taste good, but is it worth the headaches?

I followed the directions carefully and used the recipe that came with this waffle maker, and all 3 waffles tuned out: burned (OK, that was to be expected) then too doughy - the waffle rose so much that the edges of the waffle pan also rose up - then finally one that was merely so-so - thick, doughy, and moist. No crispy edges, which is what I want in a waffle. I checked other recipes online and most had up to twice the amount of water or milk in them, which made for a crisper, lighter waffle. Re: clean up - I wish that the plates were removable so that I could soak and therefore clean them more easily, instead of washing out each square individually while trying not to get soap and water in the maker.
