This grill is not heavy enough to make a really good panini. I was very disappointed in the way it would make the panini. If you made a stuffed panini it would make the filling come off the panini bread. You had to make a really thin panini for it to work and than it was more like a grilled sandwich than a panini. It is small also so you can make a large panini but you cannot make 2 average size paninis at the same time. It is probably good for a college student but not a family. The quality is not there. Performance Just cannot make a nice thick sandwich. It is OK but certainly not of high quality as you would get a panini when you are eating out. I was disappointed. Durability It is sturdy enough but not of high quality parts. Ease of Cleaning Not easy to clean if cheese or some other fillings get on the grill as always seemed to happen when we tried to make a panini. Ease of Use Not hard to use but did not give me the results I was looking for.
