James Stewart, Kim Novak, and Jack Lemmon play in "Bell, Book and Candle", a movie about a witch.

Plot: Gillian (Novak) is a bored witch who likes to enchant people into doing things to amuse her.  It's Christmas time and Gil decides to "seduce" her college nemesis' fiance, Shepherd (Stewart).  She soon discovers that she's not invulnerable to love and falls for Shep.

Why I like it:  Novak is very sultry in this movie and it seems is great without any effort.  Her Siamese cat Pyewacket is adorable and also has magical capabilities as a mind reader.  You have to see this to see Jack Lemmon as a young man.  Stewart, Novak and Lemmon all work beautifully together and really make for a fun, comical and magical movie.

Snack Attack: Air popped popcorn, lightly buttered and salted with a touch of pamesan cheese.

I love this movie. When I was a kid, it used to show every Halloween.
