Belkin F7D3302 wireless share router good value

My daughter got a netbook for Christmas and we needed to buy a router for her to access the internet with her new computer.  We went in search, having no idea what to buy or how much to spend.  After asking some customers and salesmen, we decided on the Belkin router.  It was a good price and a gentleman at the store recommended it to us.  We got home, and having no idea how or what to do to get it hooked up, I followed the instructions, and tada!! had complete access to the internet in minutes.  I was very  impressed with myself and the instructions. We have fast connection and when I am on the home computer and my daughter is on the netbook, we don't interfere with the connection speed.  The router is small and isn't in the way at all.  The only real complaint I have is that it seems to be moody and disconnects more often than I would like. I have to reboot the system sometimes and sometimes just the router.

I can not really compare this router to any other router, because this is the only one I have every owned. However, I can compare it to my college's Wi-Fi, and it is much faster and less irritating. I love that videos do not take forever to load and I can surf the web even faster. There are some times that is acts up and dissconnects without warning, so I just wait for it to be "in a better mood" before I use my laptop again. Other than that, it also gives great signal to my PSP, and it is the only router I see myself owning in the foreseeable future.

When I got new Internet service at my apartment, my needs were pretty basic.  I wanted to be able to use my laptop in my whole apartment, and also wanted to be able to stream movies from Netflix on my Wii.  Being on a tight budget, I went searching for an affordable router to meet my needs.  This basic router fit the bill. This router was extremely easy to set up.  I installed the software on my computer, plugged it in, and I was good to go.  It has built in WPA security, which I liked.  The settings and preferences were simple to access and change. The signal is decent and covers my small duplex adequately. However, this router is not perfect.  While it has a decent signal, it sometimes stalls and requires rebooting. Some days, I have to unplug it and plug it back in 5 or 6 times. Sometimes I go days without having to reboot it.  This is really inconvenient, but it is not a deal breaker for me. The next time I buy a router, I'll probably spend a few extra bucks to get a more consistent product...but if you're on a tight budget, this router will do the job decently.

Lightning had killed our previous wireless router and we had to buy something quick to get back up and running since I work from home and am needing to be online almost all day each day.  This wireless router was very affordable, so I thought I'd give it a try.  I have to say that I am more than impressed.  I expected it to be a little more complicating to set up and install but it was easier than our previous Linksys and our previous D-Link wireless routers.  The security code is already programmed in for you, and there is a spot on the bottom of the router to store the security key code card that comes with it - so you won't lose the key code!  Smart thinking on Beklkin's part.  I would recommend this wireless router to anyone needing a quick and basic wireless router.  The only downside or problem that I have with this router is that it seems to take a little bit longer to connect than our previous one.  It's not painfully slow but it does take a little bit longer if you're sitting there watching and waiting for it to connect.
