The router works pretty well, no complaints. Setup was not fun, however (installation CD did not want to boot up). I think the network is secure, but not sure how to tell that, however. Performance What can I say, it works very well for me. I do have a small place, so I can't really give a distance for range. Durability Haven't had any problems yet. Setup & Ease of Use I bought the model specifically because it said easy setup on the box (I'm not a computer expert). All the box said to do was put a CD in your computer and hook your internet connection through the box. I don't know if my antivirus software had something to do with this, but the CD did not boot up. Service & Support They don't even put a phone number to call on the box! I think I had to google it. Think I was on hold for over 20 minutes before anyone answered (this was Saturday, not sure if it is different during the week). The guy I talked to was able to help me set up the router, but it was clear he wanted to get me off the line.

I got this router when I bought my laptop. After talking to the sales rep about the different routers they had available, I decided that this one would suit my pupose. It was easy to set up and I haven't had any problems aside from the ocassional outage. Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired, but fortunately I haven't had to deal with them. But this is a good choice for the price. Performance Performs well and has a pretty strong signal. Durability Seems to hold up well. Setup & Ease of Use Extrememly easy and quick to set up. Service & Support Only dealt with them once, but had to be transferred three times to address a simple issue...and it still was not fixed by them!

While I know some things about a computer, when it comes to the workings of how routers operate and all that stuff, I am totally green.  My husband bought us the Belkin "N" wireless router, and I feel it works fine.  He says the speeds are top knotch the way he likes them.  We had the repair tech come out and he explained some interesting concepts to me, as to what will affect the Router speed capacity.  While some may know about this, I felt it was important for people like me, to share what I learned. Did you realize that no matter what router you have, that if you have wireless/cordless phones, game systems such as Wii, Nitendo, etc, that all of this will take from the speed of your router.  I found this really interesting to know.  Also, he said that there has been such an incease in computer usage, that they are running out of IP addresses, so that are coming up with new software to add numbers to the newer IP's.  Kind of like what the phone companies have had to start doing.  They now make you dial the area code, plus your number in alot of places.  This way they can reroute the same numbers to different areas.  Not sure yet exactly how that works, but this all came from the techie.  Now grant it, maybe I am green, but I found the information he was telling me was extremely interesting, and I felt I had learned something.  I do hope this has helped someone else.

I am very computer literate. I have never had an issue like I did with the Belkin Wireless Router!!!! Three hours it took to get it installed and it still has issues picking up one of the laptops!!! So annoying!!~ I guess thats what happens when you go the cheap route!! I do still have it, it's been 2 weeks now. But tomorrow I'm off to get another one, a different brand!!!!!

We got our belkin wireless router a few years ago and it has more or less worked the entire time. It was hard to set up in the beginning because we had never had a router before, but the customer service was very helpful and we got it set up. I think the only issue we have had is with the network and sharing files on computers. The internet has always transmitted and worked, regardless of whatever else happened, but sometimes we will be able to send things from one computer to the other and most of the time, we cannot. We only have one printer, for the last couple months we have been hauling it up and down stairs to the computer where we wanted to print something from because we can't find the other computer on the network. But I can't blame the router entirely because I suspect that one computer having vista and the other XP, might have something to do with that too. Overall, the belkin router has been a great addition to our home because we can now hook up all the computers we want to the internet!

The average N router will give you N signal output. It will give you the same 2.4 ghz bandwith that this Belkin Wireless N Router will give you. It will also give you a smaller bill on your credit card. However, what it does not give you is Belkin's great build quality and easy functionality. This router was easier to set up than a plug-n-play TV tuner. With Belkin, there is no skimping on build quality. This thing is made out of high quality plastic with a nice finish on it. The function lights are nice and bright. Unforunately, this router did not exceed my expectations. I expected the N capability to blow the signal strength out of the water. I expected that I'd be able to get perfect reception all around my 800 sq. foot home. That certainly was not the case. There were many dead spots due to the large home and the thick walls that filled the house. For the price, I should have bought two cheaper routers and split the wireless signal among the house. Now, I will be waiting for a 5 ghz router.

Well the first time my wife brought up getting a belkin wireless router and what it did i thought she was wrong or she just read something online that was trying to sell her something.After a few months she went and got one without me knowing and had everything set up before i got home (so she could say i told you so.......i'm sure)And i do have to say i was impressed and amazed that it actually did what it supposed to.I knew htere had to be some kind of catch,like going online would be illegea because we wern't paying a inter service provider or something,and then she explained "the wifi thing to me".Which was another thing i couldnt believe or understand......she reassured me hte was nothing illegal about it,i pretended to be fine with it even though deep down i still had my doubts.Today i understand more and enjoy all the benifets of using the belkin wireless router.The only thing i don't like is they wear our and they don't tell you this when you buy it!

We recently were shopping for a router to connect to our new computer so we could have multiple computers online.  After research and talking to some experts we were directed to the Belkin N Router.  It was easy to set up and has been working without problems for over two months now.  We started out with both computers in the same room but now have them set up in different rooms on different floors and we have experienced no problems.  I don't know how it would work in a large office setting but for a few computers at home was well worth the money.

I originally owned a wireless card from Belkin, then later required a router, and since I had no problems with the card, I decided to look for a router with the Belkin name as well. I talked to a sales rep for a bit before to see what he thought of the Belkin routers, and he said that he hadn't heard anything bad about them except that this particular one is a bit slower than the more expensive kinds. Fortunately though, this router also happened to be on sale at the store I went to, so I went ahead and tried it. At first, I had no problems with it at all. I would say that lasted about 4 months. The only times I wasn't able to obtain a signal was when it was storming outside. Then, it started giving me occasional problems. Nothing too major-I wouldn't be able to get the signal, and I would go over to the router and see that the yellow internet light was on (meaning that there was a problem). After resetting it with a button on the back, it would normally work again on the first try. It was like this for about another month, and then it started happening more and more frequently. Pretty much any time there was a light rain I lost signal, and many other times for no apparent reason. I have always been able to get it to work again within a few restarts, but it is a bit on an inconvenience to have to do so.

I purchased this router because I needed to connect two other computers.  I had previously tried a different brand and what a fiasco!  I tried numerous times to connect it, followed the directions to the letter and no matter what I did, it just would not work.  In addition, the directions were very complicated and there were many steps involved. When I connected the Belkin, the directions were very simple and only took minutes.  It worked right away and I have never had any problems with it.  I have been using it now for approximately one year and I can say that if you need a router, this is a great one to purchase.  I think you will find it's easier than others to hook up.  When I had completed the installation etc, I could have kicked myself that I hadn't purchased the Belkin initially.  I could have saved myself a ton of frustration.  I could also have used my other computers days before I did.  I was shocked at how easy the Belkin was.  In closing, let me tell you that I took the other one and threw it in the trash.  I had decided that there was nothing that could ever cause me to attempt to use that one again,
