The Belkin Wireless G-Router is definately priced right. However, the funcionality and dependability are not quite so great. As soon as you install it, you will have internet but it will consistently crash until you can get your firewall re-configured. Also, if there is alot of phone usage in your home, it interferes with the signal.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to get the software to work on my pc. I have re-installed the belkin software 5-6 times (each time I did this I had to reinstall my network card as well) and it works for about a day - then malfunctions. I've even tried downloading the software from the belkin website and it does the same thing on my pc. If you have Windows XP you can use that software instead. It took awhile for me to figure that one out....
Getting tech support is very difficult and time consuming. Belkin outsources their tech-support so after waiting 10-15 minutes on the automated system you usually get someone who does not speak English well and is difficult to understand. When I first purchased my network card and router, I was on the phone with them every 2-3 days and it was extremely frustrating. Alot of the people I spoke with didn't really know what they were doing. I am pretty good at troubleshooting so eventually I figured out what I had to do but now that I know - I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Belkin does have a lifetime guarantee, after the first one malfunctioned we had to send it back and they sent us another one. The problem with this router is that the cables fall out of the back of it all the time.
