The Wireless G Router from Belkin is adequate for the price of $20 to $25. The first one I bought lasted about 10 months, the second one was broken right out the box, but the replacement from Staples works fine. If this one lasts less than a year as well, then I'll spend the money for the next one up, which is about $40 to $45. Its range works well throughout the house and up to the yard, which is good enough for us to use and more difficult for our neighbors to try to piggyback on.

This router was suggested by the store where we had purchased a HP laptop for our daughter's college use and we could not be happier with it. The installation was very easy and straightforward. The minor issue we had was that the instructions did not say to connect the laptop to the system to verify it but, the 800 number connected us to a tech that was very helpful and pleasant.
I recommend this brand to anyone needing this style router for wireless internet in thier home. It has an encrypted securty setting and functions wery well with an excellent range.
