This router is terrible. It works during initial set up, but then the connection fails every time you boot up a wireless item. I have to unplug every time to make it reconnect. I will never buy a belkin item again. Pay the extra to buy a better non-belkin router.

My roommate wanted to use his Nintendo Wii online. The easiest way for this to happen is with a wireless router that would connect between our cable modem and the computer. We knew we had a problem from three other domains already in existence in our house, and a home theater system with a remote rear speaker system. We tried two other wireless routers in our house. Both of them had the capability to reach the other side of the house on the second floor with at least two bars, but the Wii kept dropping the connection. This made my roommate very angry because these drops always seemed to happen when he was in a heated competition. We finally tried the Belkin Enhanced Wireless Router. The installation was relatively painless, other than the need to change the existing router channel six to channel eleven. The Belkin support representative was very helpful making this simple change and this router has completely solved the droppage problem, and the Wii now has three bars upstairs. This router rocks!
