I have had more problems with this router than it's worth! The famous saying, "you get what you pay for," definitely applies to this product. The first time I tried to connect it, I had absolutely no success. I had a laptop and a PC that I was trying to connect. I tried to call the customer service phone number, but I couldn't understand any of the people. They wanted my phone number, which I did not feel comfortable giving, but did anyway. They were supposed to call me back, and they did -- at 10:00pm the next night! I was furious that they called me that late because that was very poor business practice. The return phone call did nothing for me. Instead, I gave up for a few days and started over before I decided to return it for a different router. Miraculously, I did the exact same things I did before, and it worked. Weird. The second time, we moved into our new house and just tried to connect the router with my laptop. Tried the same thing, didn't work. I called the customer service number and got the run around because once again, I couldn't understand the representatives. It got to the point where I had to ask for an American representative, to which I was told, "there are none." I CALLED THE UNITED STATES CUSTOMER SERVICE! The rep told me I had to call the number again and input a three-digit number to got American reps, but I'm pretty sure he lied to me because it didn't work. Finally, after asking "what, huh, can you say that again?" 500 times, we got everything situated. The rep took me through an entirely different process than any of the others did, but finally it was a success. An hour and a headache later, everything was situated. Still, I have to manually connect to the Internet each time I open my laptop, but at least it works now.
