Originally, I had believed that my daughter's bedroom would require a primer and perhaps two or three coats of paint to cover properly because I wanted to replace the dark purple colour with a light blue. Behr Premium Plus Ultra interior paint, however, proved me wrong. I was able to do paint the bedroom with just two coats. This paint is paint and primer combined. It costs more per gallon of paint than other grades of Behr but I believe that it saved both time and money in the long run. It took only one gallon of paint with the Premium Plus Ultra. Another grade of paint would have required a gallon...
review »Behr Premium Plus Ultra Interior Paint is a great paint. The company advertises that it is a paint and primer in one. It covers very well and has low odor for indoors. It is an easy clean-up too since it is water based! I highly recommend this paint. I purchased this paint at Home Depot. They have a great display and offer a wide variety of colors. You could also take a paint chip to the store and they will match it. I used it on sheet rock, wood cupboards and my kitchen walls. It covered in two coats. We initially made the mistake of using semi-gloss on the pantry wall and it was...
review »I was skeptical about using the Behr paint with primer but due to time constraints (OK and lack of patience) decided to give it a shot on a recent bathroom makeover. After spending two months of stripping wallpaper which did not want to come off, my patience was wearing thin and I did not (nor was I willing) to spend a great deal of time painting if I didn't have to. Usually I am a Benjamin Moore girl so trying Behr Ultra was going againts the grain. I am so glad that I took this leap of faith and giave it a shot.
My husband is grateful that I did. We chose a seafoam green paint to...
review »We bought a cream color to cover a darker beige. It did not cover well with one coat. It seemed like an ordinary 2-coat paint. When we complained to Home Depot, they didn't care, and gave us Behr's phone number. I think they should have at least refunded us the difference between the regular and premium, which is about $12.
