Pros

oven baked, no soy, dogs love them, no fillers

This is a new treat that I recently noticed on my last outing to the grocery store.  These treats are oven baked for easier digestion, all natural with no soy and no fillers added.  The treats are even a cute heart shape, although I don't think my dog noticed.  They were priced for $1.88 for a good size box (and good sized biscuits), so I thought I would give them a try, or at least my dog would.

When I got home I took the box out and opened it.  Barkley looked interested (as he always does from a grocery trip) and I gave him one of the biscuits to sample.  He took it and put it on the floor.  He looked at it and then me and I told him to eat it.  He looked around to see if anything more appealing would appear out of the magical shopping bags.  When he decided that was it he ate the biscuit.  He looked at me anxiously with tail wagging.  So I gave him another one and he dashed off to the other room (his treat room) to scarf it down.  He loves them.  I wonder if it's because I threatened to take the biscuits to the Humane Society if he didn't eat them.

I have to comment on this review. Perhaps when this was written these dog biscuits were good, but they nearly killed my dog and my mother's dog.
I honestly wouldn't have known it was the biscuits because we had also started some meds at the same time (so naturally I thought the meds were giving her bloody diarrhea.) While my dog LOVED the cookies - I took her off of everything that was new (the cookies and the meds) and after a week she returned to normal. That would have been that, except that my mother's dog suddenly started having the bloody diarrhea and the throwing up that my dog had. The only thing new in HER diet was the cookies. That pretty well proved to me that it was the cookies and not something else.

The dogs loved the taste of the cookies, but since they BOTH came down with the digestive problems, you need to be wary when feeding these to your dog. At the first sign of loose stools you need to throw the biscuits away!

LOL that's a riot that maybe only us dog lovers (adorers) can really appreciate and actually be right there with you! Jo
