Beachnut has generally been my first choice ever since I compared its price with Gerber.  It is only a couple of cents different, but that adds up.  There are many healthy choices and combinations.  The baby food does taste good and is high quality in general.  I was a little disappointed with the... review »

My son loves all of the varietys of these foods.  He is currently in stage 2 but I am sure stage 3 will be just as successful.  The only complaint I have is there are not enough varieties in breakfast and supper choices.  I like the price and product better then gerber by far.  I grew up thinking that gerber was the brand but now I know different.

I Love the Beechnut line of foods.  They are the best price in all the stores I shop.  When you send them 48 labels from the jars they send you a coupon for free jars.  All 3- of my children have loved this product.  It is a name you can trust.

I feed my 2nd daughter this stuff and she loves it.  I feed my 1st child gerber cause thats what i was feed then my mother-in-law started useing this stuff and i tried it and she loves it.

When I was a baby my mom feed me Beechnut and i feed my son the same.  I have a who is younger then me who has a son too about my son's age and she swears by Gerber.  Personally I swear by beechnut because they have a variety of everything not just dessert.  I mean baby can't live on applesauce and bananas their whole infant hood.  Well my son wouldn't mind but I do, I also like Beechnut's prices better they are cheaper and with living on a budget that's so good.

Use caution with Beechnut Homestyle Baby Food

I recently purchased nine jars of BeechNut Homestyle stage three baby food. They were all fruit combinations such as Apples, Cherries, and Plums - also Pears and Blueberries. After my son consumed the first jar, a few hours later he pooped in his diaper, and it was awful. It was coming out of his diaper and all over. At the time of the first jar, we both had a cold so I was not sure if the cold was the cause of his diarrihea. About a week later, I feed him a jar of his fruit, and again the same thing happened, only he had this problem three times during this day. He had fruit juice as well, so...

A great choice of baby food!

I am a mom! I have a baby who loves to eat! He started on Gerber baby food but i found it to be nothing but water! I switched to Beech-nut which is cheaper but so much more consistent with the vegetable than water! My son enjoys every flavor so far! Nothing bad to say about it at all. Its so easy to get a starter kit! Plus if you save UPC's you can send in and get coupons! Gerber doesn't even offer that! I'm going to stay loyal to Beech-nut for my next child as well. Gerber doesn't have anything i want! The cereal even dissolves better! I must say Im impressed!

This is my favorite baby food for my 8 month old, I love the new good morning and good night meals.  They help him sleep longer because they are heavier than other brands.  My son loves the tastes of all of the foods that I've tried him on. Basically as long as it's the "good morning" or "good night" line than I'll buy it.  I find the price has been comparable to Gerber but you actually get .5 oz more. I would recommend this to any and everyone.

Both of my children enjoyed the variety and the great taste beech nut foods has to offer. As a single mom I have always offered my children the best foods at a geat quality price. They enjoy the chicken and turkey and the variety of mixed blend fruits. Don't make the mistake to confuse taste with price. All grocery stores offer beech nut from infant baby to a healthy growing toddler.

This is the only brand of baby food I ever bought for my son.  He never liked Gerber.  He loved his Beechnut.  My son is very healthy and thriving.  I would reccomend any parent buy this food for their child!  However, I wish they manufactured more food in the stage 3 variety.
