My baby enjoys cereal mixed with pureed fruit so I thought he might enjoy Beech-Nut Good Morning Oatmeal & Mixed Fruit Cereal. He did not enjoy this product. I think his dislike of Beech-Nut Good Morning Oatmeal & Mixed Fruit Cereal comes from the texture of the product. My son seems to prefer smooth cereal. He prefers the cereal to be mixed well with formula, stirred well, and then the fruit to be mixed thoroughly in the cereal before I feed it to him. I found that there are "chunks" in the Beech-Nut Good Morning Oatmeal & Mixed Fruit Cereal and it does not mix uniformly with formula. When he gets cereal with a "chunk" in it, he immediately spits it out and refuses additional bites of the cereal. My baby has a very strong gag reflex, so this is not a good product for him. I do like the concept of the product, but the texture of Beech-Nut Good Morning Oatmeal & Mixed Fruit Cereal does not work for my baby. Quality of Ingredients Good quality ingredients but there are "chunks" of dried fruit in the cereal.

My first born child could not eat the normal rice cereal because of digestive issues, but she loved the oatmeal cereal. So, I decided to branch out and buy Beech-Nut Good Morning Oatmeal & Mixed Fruit cereal for some variety. She loved it! Apparently, it added just enough tasty variety in her diet that she gobbled it up. It was very easy to open the package, which pours out from a small opening with a lid. I love the fact that you can close it up completely, but it's frustrating to get out the last little bit of cereal at the end. We travel quite a bit so being able to close the container completely was very handy. It kept the cereal from ending up all over the bag that we packed it in. The cereal mixed well with water, formula, and breast milk. It was easy to mix it to different thicknesses as well. I often mixed it with jars of fruit baby food to thicken it up. Safety The cap on the box could possibly be a choking hazard if you let your child play with it. But, as is most things, keep an eye on your child and make sure you put the lid on tightly when you're not around.

When my son started getting bored of all the other cereals because they had absoloutely ZERO taste, I stumbled upon this variety made by Beech-nut and immediately wanted to try it! My son loves fruit and when I don't have any handy to mash into his cereal, this is my go to box! Great consistency, great solid flavor and of course, because it is made by Beech-nut, it doesn't contain as many additional preservatives, compared to the other brands!! I am so glad I found this because I also bring it when we travel in case we can't find any fresh fruit. And the biggest reviewer - my son - devours it like it's the first time he's tried it every time we feed it to him, so I guess we have to give it five stars!

I wanted to try this because I had heard great things about Beechnut and this one looked like it tasted good! I also bought this because I wanted to be able to mix in breast milk or formula. Out of all the Beechnut cereals we tried, this one the only one that didn't make my son gag! He liked it enough that we were able to finish the carton that it came in unlike the others that we had to throw away. I must admit, most cereals make me gag and I take it any ways just to take the temperature and make sure it's safe enough for my son - and this didn't make me gag either! The taste is subtle because of course at such a young age babies don't really like strong flavors.  I like the fact that this cereal actually has extra nutritional value that is an added bonus for this cereal because I know that at this age many babies are lacking in certain vitamins. It is well priced and I really recommend this to all parents.

We started using beechnut cereals and specifically the oatmeal with mixed fruit when my son was 6 months and are still using it now.  We first mixed it with formula and now mix with milk.  It is easy to make and healthy for them to eat.  I also add some fresh fruit to the cereal and when my son was little would add a jar of stage 2 fruit to give it flavor.  It has all of the nutrients to get him off to a great day.  We are proud beechnut users and still use many of the beechnut lets grow products.  I love the easy to pour spouts and that they seal much better than the gerber cereal boxes.  I have also found that the beech nut cereals are priced better than the gerber cereals and also better coupons are available for beechnut cereals.  Healthy, easy to make, easy to store.  I have also found that my food stores sell beechnut and stock it better than gerber cereal.  It all depends on where you shop though as target does not sell beechnut products.

Like I mentioned in my last review, I got a coupon to try out Beech nut cereal. I decided to pick Good Morning Oatmeal & Mixed Fruit cereal. My cousin's daughter isn't a fussy eater, which is blessing because it can be so annoying shopping for babies who don't want to eat anything. I fixed her a small bowl and she ate it with a smile on her face watching her favorite cartoon show. She even tugged on my shirt and wanted more. How can I turn a cutie like her down? She gobbled down her food and showed mer her belly which means she's full. I am definitely going to buy this in the future and I would recommend it for parents who want their babies to eat something delicious and nutritious. Nowadays, there is just too many cereals with tons of artificial coloring and sugar to please children's taste buds, but that will just result in diabetes, or bad things along that line. Your baby won't complain about this and you'll be happy to buy for them.

I have been using Beech Nut Good Morning Whole Grain Oatmeal & Mixed Fruit to mix with some of my sons food. My son like more texture in his food and I needed to find a cereal that would be healthy and filling and not to tough on his tummy. I found that Beech Nut's Oatmeal is perfect for this task. It doesn't have too much in it that could ind up my baby's tummy. It is flavorful and mixes well with pureed fruits and vegetables for a good consistency.  It's a good source of Iron, Calcium, Vitamin D, and 7 B vitamins. It also has fiber in it to support learning.. The container has an easy twist open id that is easy to re-close and store. this makes it easier to pour without making a mess and it won't leak while it is being transported or put away after being used. This is a great cereal to use mixed with formula, breast milk, water, juice, or other foods for a thicker consistency. This is a great prduct for babies stating out with solid foods.
