My kids had the day off from school yesterday and my youngest had experienced some interest in seeing Bee movie, since this was his first interest in actually going to see a movie, I thought that it might actually hold his attention long enough for us to get to see a whole movie without interruption. So off we went to see Bee movie which was co-written by, Jerry Sienfeld).

The Plot

Berry (Jerry Sienfeld) is a bee.  He has just graduated from Bee school and now it is time for him and his best friend (Mathew Broderick) to go to the honey factory and pick out the job that they would work for...

     When I saw the previews for The Bee Movie on television I knew this was one movie I would have to take my daughter too.  She loves going to the movies, but there are very few that she will actually sit through the whole show.  The Bee Movie was one of them that she didn't even leave her seat.

     The movie is all about a bee's life.  The main bee, with the voice of Jerry Seinfeld, is determined to leave the bee colony and explore the real world.  All the bees frown upon this, as this can be very dangerous.  He doesn't care because he does not want to do what the rest of his bee...

I took my family to go see Bee Movie because my kids had been seeing the commercials and wanted to see it.

What a waste of time.

First all of the funniest parts of Bee movie were in the commercials.
Second the story line didn't really make much sense.
Third by the last 3rd of the movie the kids were asking when was it going to be over.

The other thing that bugged me and my wife was that the main character was supposed to be a young bee. But his voice was Jerry Seinfield, who sounds very much like an older man. It just didn't make sense.

If you can rent it free and watch it fine, but otherwise...

What can I say

 Well the previews wear the best part of the movie. Jerry Seinfeld is one of my favorites but this was not his best work. He can do so much better I was disappointed and so wear the kids that walk out on me because they had better thing to do that to watch a woman & a bee be friends its just not real or should I say would you like your kids going out side trying to befriend a bee? Don't think so..

i did not want to see this movie it didn't look all that cute or interesting to me during previews but i watched it today for lack of anything better to watch. it was so cute and educational too for instance i didn't know that bees were not designed to fly but they do anyways.......there is a good message in the movie as well about team work etc., and different people can get along and make things work out for the better good. i really enjoyed it. not as funny as say shark tale but a really cute movie just the same.

i see on here a con is shoooting pooh w/a dartgun and it wasn't pooh exactly it...
