A good friend reccomended the Bed-In-A-Box PacDown mattress and I'm so glad I took his advice. The mattress is just fantastic! I'd heard that some memory foam mattresses get too warm, or that you get "stuck" in them, which is why I was always skeptical of them - especially at the prices some brands charge. I am pleased to report that there is none of that with the PacDown. It's firm enough that I can sleep comfortably on my back, but it gives way very nicely when I roll over on to my side or stomach. There's no wrong way to sleep on it!I have a full-sized bed, and I don't find the mattress to be heavy at all. That may be true for the larger sizes, but the full is very easy to reposition on my platform bed. Even without handles it's easier to maneuver than my old spring mattress.
The PacDown cover is very comforable and well-made. It's not as thick as other down mattress toppers I've seen, but that's a good thing. It's enough without being too much; I don't feel like I'm drowning in a sea of overstuffed pillows. The star, after all, is the mattress itself, and there's no reason why the topper should overpower it.
Delivery was quick. The item was very well-packed. Customer service was superb. I'm glad I bought this mattress and I would definitely buy from them again.
