Bedinabox.com Memory Foam Mattress —
We bought a Bed-in-a-Box about six months ago, and I can honestly say that both my husband and I love it!!! Before we got this mattress we had been sleeping on a mattress that was so hard, it was almost more comfortable to sleep on the floor. Then we sold that one and used our blow-up air mattress - we just put the air mattress right on our box-spring. It was comfortable enough, but as time went on it would deflate, and whenever one of us would get out of the bed, the other person would sink down a few inches. This was the space-age memory foam that I'd heard so much about and we could get an 11-inch thick queen-size mattress with a down cover for $499.00 and free shipping!! We were a little skeptical at first, because the price was so great! All the furniture stores we had gone to locally were selling their cheap mattresses for more than the price of this mattress. But after reading the rave reviews for this product, and the fact that they offered a 120-day in-home trial period, satisfaction guaranteed or your money back, we decided to give it a try. My husband ordered the bed that day, and it got to our house about five days later. We got the 11-inch memory foam PacDown plus mattress because we wanted the two extra inches of foam. He got out out of the box, unfolded it on our box-spring and it decompressed in about a minute. We put the down cover on and made the bed up with sheets and the rest is history!My husband has had back pain in the mornings ever since I've been married to him, but I haven't heard him complain about his back once since we bought our new mattress. My biggest fear was that it would be too soft. I was afraid I would sit on it and sink down in a hole, but that's not the case. It is soft and yet still offers amazing support. And like I said, we've had ours for six months and there are no sunken spots or anything like that. Our other fear was that it would be hot to sleep on, because I've heard that about foam mattresses; but our bed does not get hot. It stays cool and comfortable. Even though I was in the last trimester of pregnancy when we got the mattress, I slept so well. And it comes with a 10-year warranty, so if anything weird happens to the mattress in the course of ten years, they'll replace the mattress for free - not that I think we'll have to use it, but it's good to know it's there.
