Bed Bath and Beyond Spinning Remote Control Holder and Frame Review

I registered for this Bed Bath and Beyond Remote Control Holder / Spinning Photo Frame because I knew my husband had a lot of remotes, and besides, it was only $20. I figured it would be nice to keep them all in one place AND have some pictures too.  Well, once I moved in we used it for remotes for like a week before I realized... the remotes were never going to stay in the darn thing!  It was time to rethink this item and I've made it work in other ways.

5 Compartments
The item has 5 compartments.  A big one in the middle works great for bigger remotes but we use it to hold our PS3 wireless controller.  Two smaller ones on the sides are good for regular sized remotes, but we use one for pens and the other for scissors and a letter opener.  Finally, the other two are skinny and wide and wouldn't really fit most remotes, but for us it fits our stamps on one side and the other side holds our left over candy canes for now.  When the candy is gone, I plan to put a small notepad in there instead.

Spinning
As long as you put this on a stable surface, it spins with ease.  It's small enough that you really won't need to spin it that much anyway, but you can if you want!

4 Frames
Finally, there are 4 frames, 2 for larger photos and 2 for smaller photos.  The only issue is that they don't hold standard photo sizes so you will have to cut photos down to fit.  This isn't a big deal for me!  I have put some recent photos in this frame that will probably stay there for a long time.  I like to pick out just the perfect photos for things like this so I don't see myself changing them unless something better comes along!

Don't expect this to fit all of your remotes, especially since a lot of remotes are so fat now-a-days!  We managed to fit 3 remotes, but like I said, we were constantly taking them out so it wasn't worth it.  I now enjoy it much more as it's always easy for me to find a stamp, a pen, or my letter opener.  You may find your own uses for it.  This is just what worked for us.  It is attractive and doesn't look messy, even with all of the things sticking out of it.  Enjoy!!
