so i watched this because my g/f made me.  i'm not that big into chickflicks, but then again i do like to read a good book.  i have to say the movie wasn't bad, although it would've been helpful if i read more (ie: any) of her books.  lots of quotes from her works, but were all lost to me... the story itself wasn't bad though.  glad it was not a hollywood fairy tale ending.
