This is a wonderful baby carrier that will last from the infant through toddler stages if you want to keep using it.
The best part of the carrier is how easy it is to use for back carries. I personally have tried many types of baby carriers and am comfortable putting my child on my back using a wide variety of methods. My husband, however, did not want to spend hours learning how to do it, so I wanted something easy for him to use. With the internal harness, you can put the baby into the carrier while he/she is lying on a flat surface, and then pretty much put it on like a backpack. My husband figured it out after about 10 minutes of practice.
With the baby on his back, he was able to go for walks, get his chores done, etc. without her being in the way like in a frontpack carrier, and she ws happier too because she could either peek out over his shoulder and see all the action or lay her head against his back and snooze.
The design of the carrier has excellent waist support so it is comfortable even with toddler, unlike most frontpacks that start to feel like a lead weight after a few months.
Finally, the carrier is gorgeous and looks like a fashion accessory instead of just baby gear.
I wouldn't recommend it for the tiniest of newborns - probably from about 2-3 months on.
