I was picking up some needed essentials at Walmart and one of those needed essentials was reading material. I try to buy a gaming magazine every week to keep up on current stuff. So this week's winner was Beckett Massive Online Gamer.
This is a great action packed magazine dedicated to massively mutliplayer online games (MMO's). There are reviews and previews of all the new MMO's coming out, along with some great information on the ones already out. if you're a World of Warcraft player, you need this magazine. Considering it's the most popular MMO out right now, this magazine has more than a few tips, guides, and articles on WoW per issue. BMOG has some revealing exclusive interviews with MMO's in development and some pretty cool ads for some nice gaming equipment. I was also surprised to see that they had a few articles on the many free MMO's circulating the interweb.
The only problem with this magazine is that it has literally four sections on World of Warcraft which seems to be little overpowering to me. I understand why they're doing it, but for those who don't play WoW, it's useless information.
Even though this is the first time I have bought an issue of this magazine, I plan on subscribing this month sometime. So head to your local retail store and check out Beckett Massive Online Gamer.
