I purchased the Angelcare Bebe Sounds monitor the day after my son came home from the hospital when I realized how much I needed the peace of mind a baby monitor brings. We chose the model that has the movement sensor because of our fears of SIDS, however, to install it you need a board under the mattress, and I never got around to it. After time the "Parent Units" started getting more and more feedback and what started out as white noise has turned into an annoying buzzing. While on vacation we used my sisters cheap-o monitor and it didn't make ANY noise and we could hear our son BREATHE!!!! I like the fact that it comes with two monitors, and at the time there weren't many that offered more than one parent unit, but now there are plenty that have multipe units. I don't think I'd purchase this exact monitor again, I'm happy it still works after two years but I paid about $100 for it and I think that's a little too much for the quality.
