I'd come back in the winter, too!

I've stayed at the Beaver Run resort two times in the summer, and both times have been very enjoyable.

The most recent stay included a two-bedroom with a queen-size bed in both rooms.  A couch in the dining room and a couch in the living room were both pull-outs.  You can sleep up to eight people in these rooms.  Two bathrooms with showers are next to each of the rooms and one of the bathrooms has a jacuzzi tub as well.  Only one of the bedrooms had a TV, so we requested another TV for the other bedroom.  The service was prompt and we had another TV shortly after.  There were four TVs total, including one in the dining room and one above the fireplace in the living room.

The kitchen looked as if it was recently updated for it had granite counters and beautiful cabinets.  It came with a full-sized fridge, microwave and everything needed for cooking.

My only beefs with the suite were that there were no hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms.  There was no place to hang a towel.  In one of the showers, the handle fell off during the middle of a shower.

The facility is located at the base of Breckenridge and from our building, one could ski in and ski out.  The chairlift was located right outside of Building Four.

Hot tubs and pools are located outside each building with towels provided in a nearby closet.

The facility has four buildings that are not always easy to access.  There is a bridge between buildings but one often has to walk up a hill to get access between the main building and the last building. I would imagine in the winter time, this would be unpleasant.

The downtown area is about a half mile away and there are free shuttles from Beaver Run as well as city buses that stop frequently which are also free.

Spencer's Restaurant is a full service, sit down restaurant in the main building and there is a deli/gift shop that provides hot sandwiches and salads.

Our organization had a discount rate of $210 for the room, which was very cheap for such a large suite.

I would definitely go back to Beaver Run in the winter time-- I can't wait to experience the skiing there!
