What do you like to use and where do you get it?

My favorites include LUSH, Skindecent, and philosophy.  I've also started getting into Booth's/c.Booth which is a drug store line.

Bath and Body would be the same as yours! I also like Tree Hut because it's inexpensive and really good stuff. I use Philosophy skin care and Alpha Hydrox products on my face. I also use LUSH's Ocean Salt scrub on my face. LOVE IT!

As for cosmetics, I don't have one favorite. I mix and match. I'm really not loyal to any brand. It would be great if I was, since I have so many different brands of stuff that I don't like or that don't work as well as I had hoped.

I'd like to think of mine as grooming aids, rather than beauty products. :)

That having been said...I like Williams' Lectric Shave and Nivea for Men.

One of the brands I really liked recently was Ambi.  I had never heard of it and I picked it up once cause it was a good price and an acne scrub and it worked great. come to find out when I researched the brand, it is marketed to women of color.  If you've seen my profile you know I'm not "of color" - unless you want to count pastey white a color.  But this stuff works great.

Nutrogena would be the next in line.

well I like clean and clear for facial.  I like the long lasting black eye liner from avon (www.youravon.com/cgarvey)  they have great deals, and you can order online from anywhere.
Their silicone glove lotion is really good for dry skin and those of diabetic, which my step dad is amd family friend.
And if you have a man, boy let me tell you.  the roll on deoderant or even the after shave or cologne MESMERIZE is so good smelling.  I use that for my two boys also.  They love it.
the roll on deoderant is only .99 so i get a few of those
I loved their super shock mascara also.

My favorite body cream is definitely Avenno.  It's great for dry skin.  I also like natural homemade soaps and lotions with goats milk.

My all time favorite makeup AND facial cleanser is Mary Kay Cosmetics!  Their day/night solution makes my face feel so soft and my foundation go on so smoothly.

I like neutragena for some makeup, eucerin for skin, Wen for hair, dove for body wash, and i will try new things. I have been using ROC for a while, but i would switch if someone had a great recommendation.

Anyone have a GREAT yet inexpensive moisturizer they use?  I was sorely disappointed with olay anti-aging.  The masive amounts of selections makes it difficult to figure out especially when you have 2 kids running around.

My favorite skin care product is Advanced Revitalift deep-set wrinkle repair by loreal. I had crows feet around my eyes. But after using advanced revitalift  day and nite it has made a big difference.

Actually ROC was way ahead of its time and is still one of the best skin care products out there. I don't know why I no longer use it. It won a lot of awards because it has a lot of retinal in it which is super anti aging. I guess I just started playing with other stuff and forgot good ole ROC. I would go back to it though if my Philosophy stuff ever runs out. I must have enough for 10 years because I get kits autoshipped.

If ROC works for you, you should stick with it, IMO. You'll find pricier but I seriously am not sure you'll find better.

Hi Patty!

Well, i tried Garnier, the new anti-aging line and I am not so impressed. I will be going back to ROC.  There really is so much to choose from, even within one brand that it is daunting. I keep hoping I will find that miracle creme that will erase 5 years. Besides the cost, plastic surgery really scares me for many reasons.

My face is ultra-sensitive. I wash it with the orange see-through Neutrogena Beauty Bar. I follow up with Neutrogena oil-free moisture for sensitive skin with SPF. Everything else I have tried (and it's been a lot, high and low priced, generic and premium) has caused a horrible rash on my face. Even with this, I can only cleanse a few times a week or it's rash time. And -ugh- that beauty bar smells bad!

For cosmetics, I like L'Oreal, but there are a slew of problems with their racist hiring policies so I may have to reconsider. I'm not a minority or even all that "PC" but their policies are really overt and in writing.

I've tried lots of skin care products but I keep coming back to Mary Kay and they have a lot of new products that I like even better than the origninal ones.  I like their make up too but I am still willing to experiment around.  One line I won't try again is Victoria's Secrets eye shadow.  It was a totally different color on than it appeared and was just dull and too dark.  I am also looking to see where my make up is made these days.

I like Aubrey Organics cleansing lotion, toner, and moisturizer for my face. I use Indigo Wild's Zum Bar in almond, patchouli, lemon grass or Tom's of Main body wash. Max Factor Volume Couture mascara, Mary Kay's oil free eye make up remover, brow pencil, lip pencil, lip stick and gloss.

I used MK religiously for years because it was one of the very few products that didn't irritate my skin, but either my chemistry changed or the formula changed, so I decided to go to the natural side for skin care.

Patty, are you a QVC girl with the auto ship?

I love Aveeno. As well as tree hut, the mositurizing lotion is the best and the brailizan nut smells the best, like a coffee shop!

As for hair care, I like Aveeno and I do like Nexxus however I dont buy it often as it is a bit pricey.

I love Avon for the sales, when you can catch a good sale its worth it.

I am a beauty products junkie, always willing to try new products out there (online or at the store), but I have a few favorites that I cannot live without:

Lip gloss by Victoria's Secret "Beauty Rush" in Juiced Berry. It smells and tastes so good. But it also gives sightly colored gloss, that looks very natural and pretty on my lips. You can buy a single lip-gloss for just under $8.00 at VS store or online OR you can buy 5 Beauty Rush products (pick from any lip-gloss, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara) for $20.00, so it's about $4.00 a piece. The only con that I can come up with is I have to reapply it often, because I love it so much that I lick it off too fast.

Exfoliator has become my best friend in the past year. I used to use the St. Ives Apricot Scrub and I liked it, but I read too many bad reviews that it can actually hurt my skin, not necessarily in such obvious way as scarring, but on a cell level. Because it contains "scrubbing little pieces" there is no way to monitor when I actually stopped taking off dead skin before I start penetrating into new skin cells. So, I found this Pineapple Exfoliant made Beaty Secrets Institute. I got it as a gift first. Now I am ordering it online at pineappleessentials.com for $24 tube. It smells great and it is so gentle on my skin, that there is no doubt it will not damage my skin. Also, it leaves my skin feeling clean, soft, glowing. I reviewed this product, if you are interested to read further. I gave it 5 stars!

Moisturizer - "Skin Optimizer" by Yves Rocher. YR is a France based beauty products company. I used to use YR line all the time when I lived in Russia. But in the USA I did not see it anywhere and i forgot how much I loved it until I received email from them and I ordered online and I am back being their fan again!

Shampoo - Pantene Pro-V "Beautiful Lengths"

Leave in Conditioner - Aveeno

Nails - Sally Hansen

I was a QVC and a philosophygirl.com autoship girl but I canceled both because I have more stuff than I can use in a lifetime. It IS good but I only have one face and way too much stocked up.

And now I like BeautiiControl products quite well and I have thousands of dollars worth of Philospohy products to use up or sell or...give as gift. lol. Philosophy's micro dermabrasion kit is amazing through and they have other things that truly make my skin glow.

Being a guy, I prefer the term "skin care products" since the term beauty products has a definitely feminine quality to it.

That having been said, I am partial to such brands as Gillette, Nivea for Men and Williams.

For me is Pond, this is great for my skin, even when I was in my country pond's is the best for me, although here in the US, I can say the Pond's product is incomplete, in our country Philippines, we have different kind of Pond's product, and the one I really like is Pond's pink, my skin is pinkish and glowing, soft and really fresh..........

I like to use Oxy Pads after I wash my face. But my skin is really drying now. It works great for me. I like to use  Pantene shompoo and contioner. It doen't ruin your hair like my old stuff. Most of my body wash and lotion comes from Avon. It is Age Defying.  It seems to work for me. I get most of my stuff from Avon when they come on sail. I buy at lot of cheap makeup from the Dollar Tree or Wal-mart.

I have been using Artistry products for many years. The qualkity is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I just have to plan ahead so I don't run out.

I am trying to be more natural and organic when I can. So for soap I use Dr Bronner on the body. I use Aveda on my face, though I have also started using Origins Organics as well as Dr Bronner to wash. I also use Avalon organics. I also use Lush and Bare Esenctuals.

I just purchased Vitamin E from J/A/S/O/N/ to add to my current lotion and moisturizer. For body lotion I am using Sephora Body Butter because I love the scent, sort of musky and lightly floral. Makeup I am all over the place, though most of my makeup is MAC.

I'm loving JK Jemma Kidd cosmetics right now. So far, everything I have tried has been amazing. And I just tried some Hard Candy cosmetics and they were pretty good too.

Too many brands, too little me! (Actually too little MONEY!)

One brand I do NOT like is Physicians Formula. Nothing I have tried by them ever worked for me. And Almay is a close second. I have only found a very few products that seem to work for my skin type and tone and my preferences.
