i have used a straightener from time to time, but i have lots of thick heavy hair so most of the time i wash and go -- especially since I have curly hair may as well take advantage. my trick to using a straightener is good product -- like redken no. 1 and patience as well as doing layers after layers. also my hair can't be in need of a hair cut or I end up with frizzes no matter what I do.
