Are there any natural beauties here who only use lipgloss and eyeliner?

I am one of thsoe women who may slap on some makeup for the camera but really I like to just look like me.there are so many cosmetics in the world that claim to make people have larger lips, less wrinkles and brighter eyes but to me thats just making you someone else.it is nice to experiment with things and I too am guilty of wearing makeup from time to time for the beautiful effects it can give but 100% of my friends has seen me without makeup.I try to wear a good moisturizer and after I went through menopause that was essential but I like seeing me when I look in the mirror.I like being makeup free except maybe for pics and date night.I was just wondering how many other women out there like to be natural alot or most of the time?

Since I retired two years ago (I am 39) I don't wear much makeup. Most of the time when we go out it's just mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss. There was a time when I would have never let anyone see me without makeup. I am glad those days are over! (lol) If we go to church or a family function, something like that, I will wear makeup. But I have switched to mineral makeup recently instead of liquid base. It's a lot easier and lighter. Take care!

Thanks LDRWeber for commenting.I use to wear tons of makeup that you possibly could have chizzeled off but now that I am 33 and a cancer survivor/mom /wife I like to go natural and I too put makeup on for functions but other wise I am just me and even though I can see a few lines here and there I can still say that I love me and thats a beautiful thing. Thanks for answering honestly.

I'm with you - I'm 26, working full time and a full time mom. Quite honestly, I usually just slap on some SPF moisturizer and head to work. Some days I'll wear eyeliner and lipgloss, but generally I'll just go with "naked" skin as my hair stylist said.

I don't MIND putting on makeup - I'll wear it out if there's something going on. However, most days I'm very happy with showing off my freckles! Other than my sister's wedding in May, I haven't worn foundation since my high school prom.

The only time I ever wear any make up is if I am performing.

I would LOVE to be just lip gloss and eyeliner and most days I am but if I'm going out anywhere I usually put on a full face of makeup or at least a little more makeup, like eyeshadow, mascara and concealer.

We all do what we have to do form time to time.I do for photos or else I would look like casper the unfrienly ghost and I do if I am going to a noce dinnner or something but for the most part my face remains an untouche canvas.

I only wear powder (which doesn't do much of anything but makes me feel better) and lip gloss.  Some days when I'm up to it I use mascara, blush and lipstick.  But the mascara is clear, the blush is light, and the lipstick is just lipstick (no liners).  Only time I got all made up more than that is for weddings when the makeup was done to me.  Otherwise, 2 minutes or less most days - 10 mins at most other days :)

I'm 44 and I only use a decent moisturizer, lots of sunscreen and some bright lipstick. I can't stand the feel of makeup on my face.  If it's for a night out I might put on a little face powder to even out my skin, but my skin is pretty nice.

When I went to high school, I was a wannabe hippie and didn't wear make-up. Since I skipped this indoctrination phase, I never got into wearing cosmetics, only a little moisturizer. Just think of all the money I saved over the years... and where is it now?!

I almost didn't respond to this because you asked for 'natural beauties' and there's no way I'd describe myself that way! But if guys look ok without makeup, I think most women would too (even if they won't admit it!).

I LOVE makeup. I don't think it makes me look less like me. I think it makes the most of who I am. I don't plaster the stuff on but I like to enhance my lashes, color my lips and add a little blush to my pale face. I feel better about myself and I present who I am to the world. I don't wear makeup constantly but when I go somewhere, I like to look my best and will at least use concealer (dark circles), mascara, and gloss.

I am 45 and have always taken it easy as far as makeup goes. I didn't even wear ANY for a long time but I saw what some products can do and how much better I look and feel about myself when I wear certain products. It's a hobby. Finding makeup that looks very natural yet enhances my features.

I still see me. I just see me looking a little less pale, a little less tired, and a little more polished. :)

I agree with Patty. I wear makeup but it is light and enhances what is already there. I am always getting compliments on my pretty skin [if they only knew! Ha]...

I started wearing makeup when I was a young woman- not as a beauty product but as protection from the elements. I am 56 but you would never know it.

One good advantage to foundation is the sunscreen all of mine contains pretty high levels and when I do wear it which is now and then I too dont cake to much on Ijust dab a little here and there.I am fixing to be 34.
