review »Rimmel London Fix & Perfect Primer (liquid)
wow, this is by far the best primer ever, it leaves my skin fealing super soft, helps makeup stay! I have oily acne prone skin and this is great, it doesnt clog my pores, and keeps the oil from forming gunk on my face! the color is amaizing, it does wonders on perfecting my skin tone and hiding some spots! and lastly, the scent is really great!
Aveda Pure Abundance
When I used the shampoo by itself, I didn't see an improvement to my fine hair. However when I use it and the conditioner together my hair feels nicer and appears to have more body. It's also easier for me to brushg my hair after taking a shower - I have fewer tangles.
I've never really used conditioner before because I through it was a waste of money. The downside to the product is that it carries a hefty price tag: $15 for the smaller side for each the shampoo and conditioner.
AcneFree Clear Skin System
After many years of getting ProActiv every few months in the mail and not being able to use it as fast as it was being shipped, I had to find an alternative. That alternative was AcneFree.
Not only does AcneFree work better for my combination/oily skin, but it costs less and I can purchase it at any local drug store. No more paying for shipping and having to throw away products that expire before I can finish using them.
AcneFree is a 3-step system - Cleanser, Toner, Lotion. Three easy steps to a beautiful complexion. The system works within a few weeks to reduce enlarged pores, oiliness...

Caress Daily Silk Soap
In general, I have committed myself to Olay soaps because of the great lather and soft-as-butter feel. Still, I can't turn my back on my first love, Caress. Let's just say that I love the way Caress Daily Silk Soap makes me feel.
In addition to the amazingly fresh fragrance of a bar of Caress soap, the fact that the bar is made with bath oil lets you know that you're in for a moisturizing experience. Caress lathers up incredibly well and the bubbles just seem to last and last. At first I was afraid that the soap wouldn't rinse off easily, but actually it did with no problem and no drying...
review »Proactiv Refining Mask
I was very skeptical about Proactive at first. I finally tried it ater I just could not take it anymore. Everything I had purchased from drug stores was not making a difference with my face. After about a week of using Proactive, finally I started to see improvements. EUREKA, I could not have been happier. The refining mask is such a versatile product. I use it as a spot treatment and as a mask. It really clears up any spots that might appear within 24 hours.
Nailtiques Nail Protein Formula #2 Treatment
My nails used to break off all the time and I had to cut them very short. They fractured and peeled at the edges, I couldn't even use them to open tight jar lids or anything that would put pressure on my nails. It was awful. Then a pharmacist recommended this product. It is similar to nail polish, but it is a little different in composition. If you paint your nails with it about once a week, the new nail will grow out strong. Now I can grow long nails, sometimes people even ask if they are fake because they are so long and good-looking.
Also it CURES nails: I don't even need to use...
review »Queen Helene Cholesterol Hot Oil Treatment
I picked up a tube of this at the Sally Beauty Supply. They sell small tubes for less than $2, they contain two treatments if you have short hair. I used the whole tube because I have thick medium length hair. The treatment was pretty quick, although I had trouble keeping it hot once it was on my hair. It probably would work best with a hair cap that you could heat up with a blow dryer. The oil has a nice smell, and you only leave it on for a few minutes. It rinsed off without being greasy, although it did make my skin feel a little oily on my face so I had to wash that off. The treatment...

LUSH Sandstone Soap
What is it?
This soap is a lemon scented soap that has a layer of sand in it at the bottom. The smell of fresh lemon is truly wonderful, and so I thought I would really love this soap.
Why DON'T I like it?
The problem with this soap is that when you use it, sand gets EVERYWHERE! The sand is good for exfoliating, but halfway through your shower, it feels like you are showering in a shower at the beach, with sand all over the floor of the shower or the tub, in your toes, etc. I can't stand that, as it makes me feel dirty in the shower. Yuck! Supposedly they have changed the formulation now so...

LUSH Karma Komba Solid Shampoo Bar
What is it?
The solid shampoo bars that LUSH makes are little hockey puck shaped things like a bar of soap. Instead, they are bars of shampoo!
Why is it better than other shampoo?
There are several reasons I prefer these solid shampoo bars to regular, bottled shampoo. First, these bars last a long time. The store says you get about 80 shampoos per bar, and I believe it. I've had mine several months now, and it's still going strong! It certainly must save money for that reason alone.
Second, I recently learned that almost all bottled shampoos have preservatives in them in the family of parabens,...
review »LUSH Shampoo Bar Tin
The use
These tins are specially designed to hold the LUSH solid shampoo bars. The staff tell you (and are correct) that the bars shouldn't sit in water, such as on the side of your tub or on a regular shelf in your shower. When the bars sit in water, they disolve and kind of melt away, and you get far fewer uses out of them. Thus, these tins are supposed to hold your shampoo bars so they don't get melted away by the regular shower water.
Do they work?
I have not found these tins actually do what they are supposed to do! Namely, when you put your shampoo bar in them after just using it, the bar...
