Beautiful Girls Review

This is a great sleeper movie about a group of friends in their thirties , reminiscent of the Breakfast Blu and other " coming of age" movies . The cast is stellar , starring Timothy Hutton, Matt  Dillon,  Uma Thurman , Natalie Portman,  Rosie O'Donnell and more !

Hutton returns to his sleepy New England town from New York for a high school reunion where he has been trying to make it as a piano player -  the characters are well fleshed out and you gain insight into the characters of each - there are many sad and poignant movies as well as a lot of humor . For some reason, this is the type of film that I like to watch over and over  , which is a rarity for me .

It may be difficult to find a new copy , but there are used copies all over the internet and I just bought another one  - you will love it !
