The Beats Studio noise-cancelling headphones not only sound great, but look magnificent. The noise-cancelation technology is superb and is ideal for long plane rides, road trips, or just relaxing and listening to your favorite songs. These DJ quality headphones don't come without a few minor drawbacks though. For one, the paint finish on these headphones is prone to scuffing and scratching, and two, probably the biggest problem with these headphones is that they require batteries. Unlike other Beats Headphones, the Studios do in fact require batteries to operate. This can be a problem for avid music listeners as the batteries are only triple As and wear down quite fast. If you're a DJ these headphones may seem appealing because of the wonderful sound quality, but they aren't for you. Using these headphones for more than three hours straight will drain the battery so low that sound quality will start to deteriorate. At five hours of use the headphones are liable to not function at all. These headphones are perfect for the casual music listener with pure sound quality and great noise-cancelling technology. They can connect to any device with an aux. jack available. The plush leather ear cups on the headphones are extremely comfortable and stylish. In short the Studios are not recommended for the avid music listener. They are perfect for the casual music listener and provide style, comfort, and sound quality in one, beautiful package. They are prone to scuffing, so handle with caution. Sound Quality Noise-cancellation works great, and the sound is of the purest quality. Comfort The plush ear cups provide extreme comfort for your ears. Design The requirement of two triple A batteries limits the headphone's functionality. Avid music listeners would find that they would have to replace the batteries quite often. Durability Very durable. Made from strong and lightweight materials. Prone to some scuffing and scratching. Paint shows fingerprints, so a good cleaning from the microfiber wipe included is a necessity.

I bought these a few years back and they are very durable and the sound quality is absolutely phenomenal. Excess surrounding noise is cancelled out and comfort is a plus due to the cushion on the ear piece. They can be worn for long periods of time without discomfort and provide the best quality I've ever found in headphones. Definitely worth the money.

I recently received a pair of studio beats by Dr Dre for christmas. As a teenager there is a certain appearance I need to keep up in order to stay with the times. Beats by Dre are definitely an accessory that really helps out an outfit for people of all ages so they are a cant miss when it comes to style. When it comes to sound quality they really live up to the hype in every way, when I have them on it is like I am shut out from the rest of the world which is a great help to stay focused while doing homework, chilling in school, or just on the train. The material is excellent, being a teenager I have dropped them a few times and they are still without a flaw. The only controversial thing about them is the price which for many people is a deal breaker, but for me it makes sense that you get what you pay for. Beats by Dre are an excellent buy for anyone and everyone, don't miss out.

These headphones are absolutely amazing. the sound quality is perfect and the bass rocks your world like you're actually at a live concert. They fit around your ears perfectly! I have my ears stretched to 5/8 inch and they still fit perfectly, so people with stretched ears don't have to worry about the headphones not fitting. The battery life last a long time. Noise cancellation is the best feature. When you have these headphones, you don't ever have to get annoyed by hearing background noises again. Overall A+ for this product and I 100% recommend this to everyone who loves music as much as I do. This product will never let you down. The design of these beauties cannot be resisted! I do believe they come in multiple colors so you have multiple choices. I currently have the black ones and they look the best in my personal opinion. I am often online, Mostly attending lectures for college. I also have 3 kids so my house is relatively noisy most of the time. As a result of my constant complaining about all the noise, my husband decided to buy Beats by Dr. Dre Studio HD Noise Canceling Headphones. I absolutely love them. I am able to hear everything. Even more importantly, I am unable to hear all the noise and chaos going on around me. They are very comfortable too. They have high quality cushioning in them that sits comfortably on your ears. They are flexible and durable too. However, If I would have known how much he paid for these head phones I would have told him not to buy them at all. Overall, they work very well. They cancel out the noise for sure. I would not recommend them because I think they cost too much. Other than cost, they are excellent head phones. If you have decent ears and can actually appreciate sound quality then do not buy these. They are extremely low end and muddy. It sounds very dark and not true to the mix. They are durable and well designed but just don't sound good. They aren't the worst headphones just very overpriced.

When these headphones came out they were all the rage, the coolest product on the market. They are cool and they are great headphones but today there are so many competitive options and I'd even say better for much less. Sound Quality Great, they close off the whole world around you. They also get really really loud without sacrificing quality. Comfort This was my first pair of these big headphones and I did not like them. They are so big and heavy they would become uncomfortable for me within an hour or so. I work online with headphones all day and these are not for that. I recommend these for maybe sound or music professionals or use on relatively short trips but not what I'd want to have on my head all day. They also become a hassle to carry around as well overtime once the novelty wears off. Design I like the style, very clean and cool, I assume this is the reason they became so popular when they first came out. Durability They are well made but mine broke when dropped from a counter. They cracked and getting them repaired was not anywhere close to a reasonable price.
