Beachbody.com Review

If you have ever been up late at night when the infomercials start to show up on the television, you may have seen infomercials for some of the work out DVD's that are sold on a website called Beachbody.com.

Beach Body sells some of the most effective workout DVD and VHS ever made.  I will list the different programs and I am sure that you will recognize at least 1 of them.

I have personally own all of these workouts and I have had great results with them, unfortunately I have been slacking off recently, and today I decided that I better get back to working out, that is what gave the idea to write this review.

To be honest there isn't a single one of these workouts that I don't like.  My absalute favorite is Turbo Jam, it is so fun, and super effective.  I did Turbo Jam for about 4 months 2 summers ago and I lost 13 pounds, without dieting at all.

Hip Hop abs is I believe the newest of the workout programs sold on Beach Body, the infomercial promises an inch off your waist in the first week after using it, I didn't lose a whole inch in a week, but I did lose a whole inch in my waist after 2 weeks of using the whole program consistently. 

Power 90 is not what I would call a fun work out, but it is a good work out.  I did this one for about 3 months a few years ago, and I got really strong, and flexible, and I felt fantastic.  I didn't weigh myself while I was doing it but there was a big difference in how my clothes fit at the time, but what I remember most was that felt fantastic.  I may not have been as thin as I had been in my 20's but I was in my late 30's at the time, and just feeling that fantastic is a great thing.

Those are the 3 that I have had the best results with, but the other programs are great two, I have just never used any of them consistently or exclusively like I have Turbo Jam and Hip Hop Abs, and Power 90, and I have not given Slim in 6 the the proper time to see how effective it is but I can tell from the couple of times that I have done it that getting results would be a definate possibility.

But honestly the best work out I have ever done and believe me I have done a lot in my 41 years, Turbo Jam is probably the most fun and effective workout I have ever done.  It is kind of like Tae Bo, but more dancy and fun.

Aside from selling work out DVD's they also sell supplements and meal replacement shakes.

They also sell some fitness gear, mostly things you can use to maximize the Beach Body Workouts.  Things like fitness bands, and weighted gloves.  There are also dumbells, workout balls, and medicine balls. yoga matts, and other equipment, all of these things and more, a lot of the DVD programs come with the equipment you need to do them, but if you really get into the more advanced parts of the systems you may want to invest in some of the optional fitness items, there are also some T-Shirts and Tank Tops for sale..

Aside from the products you will find tons of success stories.

There is also support that offers tips, and you can also sign up for a Wowy tracker that will help you keep track on line of all workouts.  You can also join boards and support groups under which ever program you are working on and you can even find diet tips.

Most of the programs are not cheap, most of them cost about $60.00 + shipping.  But you can choose to pay $19.99 per month for 3 months.  The shipping is also not very in-expensive the average shipping price is $12.95 and although you may think that you will get your DVD set really fast, it has never taken less than a week to come, it usually takes them more like 2 weeks to come, which is pretty rough if you are exited about getting started.

I have also had a couple of issues with receiving things that I did not order, or that I may have subscribed to with out realizing it.  Be careful when checking out that you are not ordering anything that you don't want, they give you options that might cause you to accidently do so.  That being said when ever I have contacted customer service, they took care of my problems immediately.
