I don't wear my contact lenses every day so I need to have a solution that can clean them and store them; I have used Bausch + Lomb products for years and have never had any major problems with any of their cleaning solutions or disinfecting products. While this is a little on the expensive side it is a tried and true product for me; I still try other products but when this is on sale I will get a bottle. You need to check the bottom of the box for the expiration date before you buy it especially if it is something that's selling for a lot less than normal. When two of my sons started wearing contact lenses they liked this multi purpose solution because they didn't have to keep track of two or three different bottles or worrying about running out of something to rinse their lenses with after they cleaned them. Like me, they both suffer from calcium deposits on lenses so cleaning them after wearing them and storing them in a solution that will keep them wearable is a complete necessity. This is a no-sting formula; I have never had any issue with this burning my eyes when I have used it to add extra drops to the inside of the lenses before applying them. You have to wash your hands before handling your lenses; if you have soap residue on your fingers that will transfer on to the lenses and then to your eye. This formulation is made for sensitive eyes; when I wear my contacts in the summer I use this more than at other times of the year because of my seasonal allergies. It does cost a little more than the regular Bausch + Lomb Multi Purpose Solution but if you have seasonal allergies or occasional redness and irritation from computer eye strain it is more than worth getting.

I have been wearing contact lenses for more than twenty years and I have been quite pleased with the progression/improvement in contact lens care over the past few decades. Gone are the days when you needed a separate cleaning solution and separate storage solution because we now have products that accomplish both tasks. One of them is **Bausch and Lomb Multi Purpose Solution for Sensitive Eyes**, a product made to clean and protect with minimal irritation. **Contact Lens Care Commentary:** Bausch and Lomb Multi Purpose Solution for Sensitive Eyes is a gentler formula that still manages to clean, disinfect, and sterilize with just a few drops. The manufacturer recommends rubbing a few drops of this clear solution onto each contact lens for about twenty seconds. Once the rubbing is complete, the contacts can be stored in your contact case by coating them with a few more drops of the solution. The product provides the complete package with little fuss and more convenience that using two separate solutions. My eyes have been toughened up from years of contact lens use, so I am not too worried about using a solution made for "sensitive" eyes. However, since I like to experiment with different products, I decided that this product was worth trying at least once. And my experience with it has been mostly positive, even if not perfect. I have noticed that the liquid is a little thinner than regular Renu Multi Purpose solution and I have noticed that I don't feel the solution on my eyes the way I do with regular Renu. Again, my eyes are not as sensitive as others, but I could notice a difference and I can see how this product could benefit those with more delicate eyeballs. This product performs well at cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing but one fact I do not like is that it takes a little more rubbing to effectively clean each lens. With other Renu Multi Purpose products, there is no need to rub at all or very little need (eye professionals usually recommend a small amount of rubbing regardless) to rub because the solution does most of the work for you, in your contact storage compartment. The additional rubbing doesn't take long, but it does eliminate some of the convenience, which is the main reason consumers purchase a muli- purpose solution in the first place. Not only that, but there is increased chance of ripping a lens if you are constantly rubbing it with solution. True, most of us wear disposable lenses and we don't care that much if we rip a lens, but once again, this certainly reduces the convenience factor. **Bottom Line Viewpoint:** Bausch and Lomb Multi Purpose Solution for Sensitive Eyes is, overall, a good product for cleaning and storing contact lenses and my eyes feel perfectly confortable after each use. The rubbing has its disadvantages, but this is still a good product overall and a good choice for those with allergies and other conditions that make their eyes more sensitive than the norm.

I have been a soft contact lens wearer for almost fifteen years and for the longest time, I wouldn't trust my eyes to any other contact solution, but Bausch & Lomb. I have mostly used their ReNu Multi-purpose Solution, but recently I decided to try their Sensitive Formula. I figured, "why not?" To be honest, I haven't been too happy with the Fresh "No Rub" Multi-purpose Solution, which it seems they have been going with lately. It is getting harder and harder to find "the Original Formula." Maybe it is just me, but I don't feel like my lenses are clean unless I "rub" them, so when I learned that the Sensitive Formula hadn't gone to "no rub" and actually required me to "clean" my lenses, I was more than happy to give the Formula a shot and I am glad I did. The Sensitive Formula is very mild. It says that it resembles natural tears and I believe that to be true. Plus, I really feel like it cleans and disinfects my lenses, unlike the "no rub." I'll sacrifice the 20 seconds it takes to clean my lenses if it means my eyes will be comfortable.
