I decided to try Renu contact solution after receiving some coupons that made it cheaper than Alcon, which I usually use. For the most part, it has been pretty good, although slightly lower than Alcon. Even without rubbing the contacts, it still cleans them pretty well and quickly by simply rinsing them off. They moisturizer well by sitting in the solution overnight, but I have found that they do not stay as moist throughout the day while wearing them as when I use Alcon. I live in a very dry climate, and I have found that my eyes often dry out badly by the end of the day when using this Renu contact solution (worse than Alcon, but better than a couple other cheaper brands that I have used). The solution does work to put a couple drops in my eyes and help moisturize them again. This works as a temporary solution, but it doesn't go between the contact and eye well, so it doesn't completely take the problem away. All around, I would buy this on sale, but not at full price.

  I have been wearing contacts for over ten years so I have used many different contact solutions.  I bought this particular one a while back and it is now my favorite contact solution.  I am a little lazy when it comes to cleaning so the fact that I do not have to "rub" my contacts is perfect for me.  I usually go to bed late so by then I don't want to clean my contacts, I just want to take them out and stick them in my case and go to bed.  When I put my contacts on in the morning they feel like new.  They literally make them feel fresh and clean.  It is also not very expensive and it lasts me a long time and I actually take my contacts out every night and use fresh solution.  Also, I have looked for other contact solutions that are no rub but for some reason I feel like there are not many being sold now which I find odd.  It is so convenient and easy to use that I will never go back to using a solution that makes me rub the contacts.

I trust the Bausch & Lomb brand for my eye care and have specifically been using the Renu fresh no rub multi purpose solution.  I was delighted to find this convenient 2 oz. size bottle in the travel section at Target.  Occasionally,  a Renu coupon will be available that does not exclude the trial size, and this product can be purchased very inexpensively.  This size is very convenient for airline travel, weekends away, and stashing in a purse or gym bag or office desk.  I make sure to always have a few on hand.  I love that this product is "no rub."  When I am taking out my contacts, it is usually late at night and I don't want to spend a lot of time cleaning my contacts.  This product multitasks for me.  It disinfects, rinses and stores my contacts. Even after 30 days of wearing my contacts, they still feel fresh and clear.  I have experimented with various brands of contact solution, but know that Bausch & Lomb fresh no rub solution is the one for me.

Contact solution is on of the toiletry items that the frequent traveler cannot easily repackage into smaller containers to reduce size and meet airline security standards.  This convenient sized Basuch & Lomb Renu Fresh solution is just the ticket. I've worn contacts for over fifteen years and have seen the many improvements made over the years to contact care solutions.  I'm a busy mom with little time to fuss with my contacts or worry about hassles of large solution bottles when I travel. Renu Fresh provides an all in one solution for storage and cleaning. I find that it thoroughly cleans my lenses and my contacts remain fresh all day long-even during allergy season. I love that Renu Fresh comes in a clear bottle that allows the user to easily see how much solution is left in the bottle.  I no longer have to guess how much solution is left in the bottle.  Clear bottle, convenient size and quality solution.  It's a perfect combination!

Renu multi purpose solution is great!  It is one of the best solutions I've ever used!  My contacts have never felt too dry and it seems to clean them really well!  Renu is a little pricey, but it is worth the price against all the other products on the market.  I have used store brands and they haven't lived up to Renu.  Other contact brands, however, are all pretty much the same, but I still use Renu because my optometrist recommended it.  The travel size is great.  It fits well in your purse or a carry on bag if you are flying.  Make sure you close the lid, due to pressure, but I have never had a problem on a plane with it.  It also comes with a contact case, so its perfect for vacation or traveling for business.  I would recommend this product if you are constantly traveling or are going on a long trip, because it is very convenient and doesn't take up as much space as other solutions do.

I have worn contact lenses for ten years. In that time, I have experimented with a lot of different contact solutions, trying to find the best one-the one that provides the most comfort at a good, reasonable price. ReNu by Bausch and Lomb has been my favorite so far. This contact solution is no rub, which is a must for my lifestyle (no time to rub my lenses every morning!) yet still effectively removes debris and irritants from the contacts. I don't even fill the entire case with the solution, I only fill it about halfway, and my lenses still come out clean after soaking all night. I have also used this solution as an emergency eye drop...and it works well for that purpose as well (other than the big bottle makes that kind of messy). It really cools and refreshes your eyes when it comes into contact. I am satisfied with the price of this solution, and often coupons come out making it an even better bang for your buck. I recommend ReNu.

About 6 months ago I started wearing contact lens and starting trying out solution cleaners for my contacts. I have used several contact lens cleaning solutions since then, but I think the Bausch and Lomb ReNu Multi-purpose No Rub formula contact solution is one of the best. Cleaning your contact lens can be quite a chore sometimes, however this product makes it sooo much more convenient and easy as ever. Just rinse your lenses for about 5 seconds and soak...that is it. This product is a bit more expensive than many others on the market today, which is why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5. If you hate cleaning your contacts lenses and hate using more than one product for cleaning, then this product is for you. I highly recommend this to any contact lens wearers. I have not had any sensitivity or other eye issues from using this product so far and I will be purchasing it in the future. I would recommend this product for sure.

I have been a ReNu user for many, many years and have loved their product. I think the formula has gone through changes over the years to improve eye comfort and I have always been satisfied. This newest formula is called "fresh" and I haven't noticed a lot of difference over the last version, I believe called "multi-plus". The contact solution is a no-rub - which sounds great, but I am not sure why they call it that. The directions on the back say "Step 1: Place 3 drops on contact and rub for 20 seconds." Although I must admit I don't usually do that, and I have never had a problem. :) The solution also disinfects, removes protein daily, and provides a fresh lens comfort. All of which I agree with. I soak my contacts in ReNu Fresh all night, place a few fresh drops on them in the morning, and pop them back in. The contacts always go in smoothly and I have no irritation. The new feature that I am most impressed with is actually the bottle! It is now clear, so you can actually see how much solution is left and know when to get more. No more guessing when to get a new bottle or running out between contacts! (That has happened before with the old white bottles). So even if ReNu Fresh is comparable to other solutions, the bottle is an added plus in my book!
