I have an astigmatism in both eyes.  One eye is not too bad but the other is really bad with the astigmatism.  Contacts can be very tricky for astigmatism and I have probably tried most brands toric lenses.  These Bausch and Lomb Purevision Toric are probably the best.  You can sleep in them which I love because I tend to get lazy.  However you can of course take them out and let them soak.  I would recommend doing that most of the time because I have gotten eye ulcers from leaving them in too long.  Eye ulcers are not fun because you can't even open your eyes for days at a time so I would not go longer than three days without soaking the lenses in a no rub solution.  I have worn lenses that once I woke up in them I would have a lot of dried tears on mine eyes.  I hate hate hate that feeling.  I have never ever had that with these lenses.  They also stay moist and do not burn my eyes after being in all day which is another common problem with other lenses I have used.
