These eye drops work very well. The only times I had any itching that they couldn't relieve was during the high ragweed allergy season and I visited a friend with 13 cats. I had my daughter try them and they work the best for her as well. We keep these in our house and use them during allergy season. Too bad they don't make them for allergic cats and dogs.

My mom introduced me to this product after it had been recommended to her by another family member. I suffer from seasonal allergies, and in general my eyes seem to be extra-sensitive to any kind of foreign matter that falls into them. I had some awful eye itching from allergies, and my mom pulled this product out of her purse and offered it to me. As another reviewer mentioned, it did sting a little bit upon initial application, but the sting was over quickly and relief followed immediately after. I was sold and now I frequently carry a bottle of these drops in my purse, too. I think it can be a little bit expensive for the amount you get, but that's fairly common with a lot of eye drop products, and in this case I do think the quality of the product is worth the price. One additional note about the stinging - I once used it when my contacts were irritating my eyes in addition to whatever allergy problem was making them itch, and the sting seemed more intense on that occasion. Maybe I should have waited a bit longer after removing my contacts before I used the Opcon A drops - but I think in the end they still worked.

These eye drops really help if you start having an allergic reaction to something and your eyes start itching and swelling really bad. Mine get to the point where I can't even really see because they start hurting so bad and itching so bad and before I found these I couldn't ever find anything to get rid of that. I used to just try to take showers or splash water in them, but that didn't really work that good, but it made them feel better than they did before it. Now that I found these I just put a drop in each eye and within a few minutes my eyes feel so much better. It soothes your itchy burning eyes and makes the redness go away. It is amazing how quickly it works and how much better your eyes will feel after. If you have bad allergies you should carry some of these around in your pocket with you at all times.

If you are like me and have really bad allergies, then you know how it is to have your eyes itching so bad that they actually hurt. That is a miserable feeling. They get really red and raw because they itch so bad, but you can't seem to stop scratching them. You try to throw water in your eyes hoping it will help, but it just seems to cool them for a minute to make the burning stop, but then starts right back. Well that is where these come in great. I am allergic to cats, so when i am around cats my eyes start itching horribly. The itchy eyes is worse to me than the sneezing and runny nose. These things work so good and so fast. Bausch and Lomb Eye Allergy Relief Drops help me out a lot when nothing else seems to. Once my eyes start itching I can't ever get them to stop. I am allergic to dogs so anytime I am around dogs they usually start itching, and most of my friends have dogs so that is a problem. I can take benadryl and it might help with the sneezing and other symptoms, but it never helps my itchy red eyes. I just put a few drops of these eye drops in and the itching stops, the burning stops, and my eyes feel great again. These things are a lifesaver if you have bad allergies like me and you often get the itchy red eyes from allergies. I love these eye drops! I sort of stumbled upon them accidentally.  My mother had bought them for itchy eyes and when we got to the car she immediately put them in, and freaked out.  Apparently they burned.  I, however, am of the no-pain-no-gain mindset and tried them for myself.  Fantastic! Yes, you can definitely feel it when you put them in but it hardly is searing your eyeballs out of your skull.  And now I dont even notice any burning at all when I drop my eyes.  I should mention that I dont have allergies but my eyes are super sensitive to everything, tend to be very dry and I wear contacts.  I have Acuvue Oasys, which helps somewhat in keeping moisture in my eyes but they still get really red.  Before these drops, people always thought I was high or tired because my eyes were so red and bloodshot.  Now though, I put one drop in each eye, once or twice a day as needed, and they are immediately white white.  I instantly look more awake, alert, and healthy.  It makes a huge difference!
