Bio True Multi-Purpose Solution for contact lenses was another one of the CVS offers in the Sunday paper. You pay $2.99 and get extra bucks reward of $2.99, so it's like getting it for free.It states on the box that it is 'inspired by the biology of your eyes'.

I took the round, clear plastic bottle out of the box, and looked for the directions. There was a leaflet in with it, with a $1.00 of coupon, and on the other side an introduction to this product. I found out on the box that you have to read the inside of the box for directions. So I had to cut up the box to get to them. How stupid.

I cut off the plastic seal, which wasn't an easy job, and then opened up the stopper, or top.

Biotrue is a very new multi-purpose contact lense solution. I just purchased some a few weeks ago and really like the way my eyes feel after using it. Biotrue is formulated to work like your eyes. Biotrue does more than just cleaning. It has tears to keep your eyes moist, a lubricant that is naturally found in your eyes and it keeps the tear proteins active in your eyes. Biotrue has a disinfectant in the solution. It also hydrates your lenses to keep them from drying out. It also maintains your eye's natural condition.

I have found Biotrue to be a great product and the more I use it the more I like it. I have always been a fan of Alcon Optifree until now. Biotrue is a great product and I truly recommend it. It makes my eyes feel natural, keeps my contacts so comfortable that I don't even realize I have them on, and now I no longer am constantly putting in drops during the day to keep my eyes hydrated so they won't dry out.

I've been a contact lens wearer for 16+ years, but in the past 2-1/2 years I've worn glasses much more often as whenever I wore contacts my eyes would turn red. Didn't matter if the contacts were new or old or how long I kept them in, either. I wanted to give BioTrue a shot to see if maybe it was the multipurpose solution that was irritating my eyes. So far I've been able to wear my contacts for 1 evening & 2 full days without any redness! (Note: I've taken out, cleaned, & stored my contacts between wear.) I am very impressed with BioTrue MultiPurpose solution. It seems to be very gentle on my eyes - no stinging sensation when I put contacts in after rinsing - and my eyes feel well-moisturized even after hours of wear. I will need to test this out a few more days to be certain, but from my experience so far BioTrue is definitely a winner! Also - on a less important note, I love the bottle! It's nice to see how much solution is left without holding it up to the light to guess...

Helps my astigmatism blurriness!

I've worn contacts since I was thirteen. I'm now 29 with a decent case of astigmatism. Before this solution, I used generic brands and had a hard time keeping my contacts in all day. My vision seemed blurry all the time despite contacts, which was very frustrating! I had come to terms with the fact that I might not be able to ever see clearly, and would just be stuck with annoying blurred vision day and night. I tried Bio True with a coupon after seeing it on television several times. I figured there was no way this stuff would be any better than the generic Target brand I was using, and that I would still have less than perfect vision. Well, I was totally wrong! This is by far the best contact solution I have ever used, and that includes being better than Clear Care and Aquify. With Bio True, I can wear my contacts from seven in the morning until midnight if I want to, without my eyes drying out! This is a first for me, and I am thrilled with this solution because of it!

BioTrue is Truly Amazing

I received the sample of Bio True and began using it a week later once finishing my other brand. I found the BioTrue contact solution to work very well. Right now in Florida, there is a lot of pollen in the air and as a result, contacts become dirty faster. The pollen can get in your eyes and make the contacts as well as your eyes become irritated. So it is important to have a good cleaner for daily use to help cut down on eye irritations. Bio True answered that problem. This is a product that I would recommend to family and friends who have contacts. The other nice thing is that quite often there are coupons available and great deals from drug stores to get your Bio True at a reduced price. I will be buying Bio True in the future.

Biotrue lens solution helps my contacts feel great!

I was provided with a full size (awesome!) sample of this solution. I was interested to try it, as I've tried many different solutions in my nearly 10 years of contact-wearing. I followed the instructions as per the bottle (couple drops on each side, rub for 20 seconds, rinse, then fill contact-keeper with fresh solution.) The difference I felt when putting my contacts in was remarkable. I noticed a difference the first time I put my contacts back in. I have now used it for about 2 weeks (wanted to give the product some time before I wrote my review to see if the results were consistent.) I am still very impressed with the product. Biotrue Contact Lens Solution from Bausch and Lomb

It is really difficult to come up with something new and innovative in the realm of contact lens solutions. Biotrue is supposed to be formulated to work with your eyes own natural chemistry making your eyes feel better, your contacts clearer and more comfortable. Unfortunately, I have not found that it is that much better than the other much less expensive brands. My eyes don't feel soothed any more than they did before. My contacts don't seem any cleaer, and if my contacts were not already comfortable I wouldn't be wearing them anyway. I have had a chance to compare the prices of this to other ones and it is way too expensive for what you are getting. The bottle is the same shape and size as some others, but actually has fewer ounces.

My advice, don't change brands. This one is not worth the extra money. It works as well as any of the others, but no better. I won't be switching brands, and I keep on searching for something better, quicker, easier, in the way of contact lens solutions.

I tried the Bausch + Lomb Biotrue Multi-Purpose Solution. I like the idea that it's all natural. I have not been using it long enough to tell if it really cleans better then any other solution. It does feel similar to my normal solution. When I put it in my eyes I still felt a little dry, but I have very dry eyes. So it could have just been the weather and my normal dryness. When I added more solution it did a good job at soothing my eyes. I didn't feel that it was above average, our outstanding in any way, it just seemed average. Overall, my husband and I found this solution to be very average. We first tried it when we were given a free sample by my eye doctor, who highly recommended it. My husband wasn't fond of the 'slimy' feeling, but I really didn't think it felt slimy. If anything, I thought it felt more like water than my normal solution if that makes sense.

Performance-wise, it does what it's suppose to. It cleans fine. Neither of us really felt that it did anything special, either good or bad, compared to our normal solution. The bottle is prettier, but otherwise, we didn't really see a difference. It's not something we will go out of our way to purchase or pay more for.

Biotrue is a good contaction solution for the everyday contact wearer. Simple to use. Just rub both sides of your contacts with a few drops and store in the included case. contacts feel good when you put them in after storing. I like using this more than my other kind (the kind that you must wait 6 hours before putting in your eyes because they have to neutralize). You can't rinse your contacts with the other kind because it burns if you touch it to your eyes if you haven't let your contacts neutralize. But with the biotrue, you can rinse them and it doesn't hurt. I can't really say it made my eyes less dry. My eyes have always felt dry no matter what solution I use. All in all this is a good brand that I will buy again. The packaging is cute and the price isn't bad.

Biotrue solution is great for people with contacts

I was one of the people who was lucky enough to get a sample of **Bausch + Lomb Biotrue Multi-Purpose Solution to try. **It is awesome. We have had several different kinds of contact solution in our house over the last 10 years and this is one of the best we have used. It is a nice size and love that it came with a new contact lens case, especially with my teenage son I try to replace that often. The solution is not irratating to the eyes, it is actually soothing.Helps allot with my son's dry eyes, he has allergies and sinus issues and has problems with dry eye's with his contacts. He says that it feels like it is working with his eyes to keep them from getting dry, so I informed him of the claim that it worked with your eyes and was pH balanced. He said he would have to agree. So we will for sure be buying this in the future when we run out. Thanks Bausch + Lomb for continuing to improve on contact solution, we would and have recommened this solution.

Great Multi-Purpose Solution

I recently tried this product for the first time. I wear daily-disposable contact lenses, but I do use contact solution, because I take my contacts out during the day sometimes and put them back in later, or need to rinse them off. 

This product is supposed to condition, clean, remove protein from, disinfect, rinse and store soft contact lenses. To use, place at least three drops of the solution on the contact and rub for at least 20 seconds, then rinse, then place the lens in a lens case for at least four hours. I liked this product - it cleaned my contacts and didn't sting my eyes. (My eyes must be sensitive because I have tried certain contact solutions and eye drops that have made my eyes sting slightly.) The product label says to discard any unused product 90 days after opening - daily users would use the product up long before that, but occasional users, such as myself, need to keep that in mind.

Love Biotrue

I worked for an eye doctor for 5 years, so I have seen and used my share fare of contact lens solutions. I absolutly love the biotrue. It's really like if they made water for contact lens solution...but like natural pure spring water. This is non irretating, it is very moist, and helps my contacts not dry out. It cleans my lenses very well. Even if it stays in my case for a long time (I don't wear contacts every day, so sometimes they sit for a week or more), it never stings or goes bad. I love the design of the bottle, the clear sleek design looks really cool. The size is great too, it really lasts a long time. I have even bought a travel sized one since then to keep in my purse, its great if a lens pops out and I need to put back in, just slap some solution on and go on with my day. Cleans my lenses very well too! Thanks Biotrue!!!

Biotrue is True to it's Name!

I have had contacts for a number of years now and I need to wear them daily. Ever since I became a contact wearer I have been using contact solutions by Alcon, however after using this Biotrue solution that will not be the case any longer. After trying Biotrue I don't think I can stop! Biotrue really does work to clean contacts and make them feel clean too. What I love about having disposable contacts is that at the beginning of every month I get to put in clean contacts. With Biotrue I'm not anxiously awaiting the beginning of the next month, as it keeps my contacts clean. Biotrue gives my contacts that same silky clean feeling that they have when the first come out of the package weeks after putting the contacts in for the first time. I could definitely get used to this! Biotrue just earned another happy customer - ME!

Biotrue feels natural and gentle in my eyes!

I have been wearing contacts for many many years and occasionally I will wear glasses just to give my eyes a rest. I got a sample of Biotrue Multi-Purpose Solution to try and see what I thought. Well I have been using it for several days now and I must say I am plesantly suprised by this product. My eyes will itch due to dryness and probably a little allergies which can make it impossible to where contacts. Since I have been using Biotrue Multi Purpose Solution I'm not getting those itchy dry eyes. My contacts feel very smooth and natural against my eyes like there not really there at all. This is not my normal brand and I didn't realize how much improvement there could be in a contact solution since I was satisfied with my old brand but since I have tried Biotrue Multi Purpose contact solution I must say this is likely going to be my new contact solution. I would recommend this to anyone who uses contact lense solution.
