Martha Stewart Everyday 4-Star Bath Towels

Martha Stewart Everyday 4-Star Bath Towels

These towels are thick and thirsty and soft.  They wash beautifully and come in a great selection of colors.  I like to mix and match these towels to the two main colors in each bathroom I have.  It gives some liveliness to the look of the room. There are so many Martha Stewart Everyday 4-Star Towel colors, it's easy to do.  These are the only towels I buy anymore.  They also last a long time, and they go onsale fairly… read full review »

I bought the Martha Stewart towels and found that they are the best I've ever had.  They have held up wash after wash in strength and in color.  They are thick and absorbent--like spa towels.  I'm getting ready to buy another batch since I changed colors in my bathroom. —… read full review »

We all know that death and taxes are inevitable, but we sometimes forget that running out of toilet paper is a close third.   The solution for the inevitable empty toilet paper roll at an inopportune time is to keep replacements close by.  But really, who thinks a stack of toilet paper is a good design decision?  Alternately, if you put the extra rolls away in a cabinet, it's going to be a major balancing act to retrieve a roll when you really need one.  Not to fear, a solution is at hand, brought to you by the fine folks at Organize.com.  The Seagrass 2-In-1… read full review »

Big John Toilet Seat Closed Front Toilet Seat with Lid

Big John Toilet Seat Closed Front Toilet Seat with Lid
not very handy

JUN

2008
This toilet seat was for Mom.  After numerous replacement seats, we stumbled accross this seat which is built to last forever.  It claims to be able to hold up to 1,200 pounds. — Installing it was not too difficult. and the hardware is extra sturdy.  However, the seat is Huge!  Not at all dainty or feminine looking, and definitely not for small spaces.  The seat also looks very utilitarian, not at all stylish. — The seat is extra sturdy and is easy to sit on and get up from.  Unfortunately Mom's developed cracks in the inner front and on one… read full review »

Bounty Basic Paper Towels

Bounty Basic Paper Towels

JUN

Overall, Bounty Basic is a pretty good paper towel for everyday usage.  However, it's not as tough as the regular bounty as far as 'scrubbing power' goes.  They tend to tfll apart quicker than regular bounty.  If you are a money-saver (as many of us are), it is a good product to buy.  I usually buy one roll to use for the really tough jobs, and then use the Bounty Basic for all the other everyday… read full review »

With a family of 6, keeping toilet paper on hand is a constant task.  I applaud Charmin for coming up with Charmin Basic.  I haven't found any other brand that compares for the price.  The rolls last longer and it is good strong toilet paper.  And...it's a plus that it doesn't leave behind any lint (great for the 4 little bottoms and 2 big ones in this house)!  Great value and great… read full review »

As I BzzAgent, I recently received the SC Johnson Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaning System, with two refills of the cleaning solution for free to try out and provide friends and family with coupons for their purchase of this product.  The retail cost for a start kit is approximately $25.00 (includes cleaner, two refills and 4 AA batteries) and shower cleaning refills are approximately $4.00 so I was thrilled to try this product out.  Since we have two showers in the house and they get a lot of action, anything that cuts back on my housekeeping duties is also a plus. … read full review »

I bought 5 new Martha Stewart Everyday 4-Star Bath Towels at K-mart.  After bringing them home and washing them numerous times since April, the lint is still coming off in huge amounts.  This is my first Martha Stewart towel purchase and I was expecting great things.  Boy, was I ever wrong!  Martha should be ashamed of herself for putting her name on these.  Didn't they test them?  And they are not aborbent at all!  Such a shame because these are nice fluffy towels.  Now the 3-Star towels are great........but that's another review. — I do not… read full review »

Aquis Super-Absorbant Towel

Aquis Super-Absorbant Towel
have super long hair, impressed with this product

MAY

This product is a God send.  Since I have long hair that is half way down my back, I have to wrap my hair after a shower, or my clothes will be soaking wet when I get dressed.  I do not use a hair dryer, as I prefer it to air dry.  When I get out of the shower, the first thing I grab is my Aquis towel to wrap my hair.  The material is sort of nubby so it is easy to wrap and go.  If I try to wrap my hair in a regular towel, it is constantly coming loose and falling off.  This towel stays put, until you remove it.  And in the time it takes to get dressed,… read full review »

If y ou have NO other device to clean your toilets, this one is still not worth the money. Get an old clotheshanger and wrap a old teeshirt around it. Don't pay the price for this device. I purchased one, using a coupon to purchase it. Never even used up the cleaning attachments that came with it. So poor in cleaning, and never stays on the wand. Falls off and then you need a new one! What the hey????? Total waste of money, trust me. I am an avid user of new products, as long as I have a coupon. I love new products, but only if they work. This doesn't… read full review »

Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush Flushable Toilet Cleaning System

Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush Flushable Toilet Cleaning System

I HATE cleaning toilets, so when Scrubbing Bubbles came out with their flushable brush cleaning system, I was out the door to buy it. I love Scrubbing Bubbles, and have used their cleaners for years, but they went WAY wrong with this product. The concept is great, a handle that you attach a flushable brush pad on, and then use to scrub inside the toilet. You then just press the release on the handle, and poof, the brush comes off in the toilet, and you never even have to touch it! Flush it down, and the dirty deed is done. Sounds ideal, but usually when something seems too good to be true, it… read full review »
