Quick View: I always mess up my manicures and thought this corrector pen would be just what I needed to keep my nails looking good but it was a big disappointment.

About Bath & Body Works True Blue Spa Miss Application Nail Polish Corrector Pen

This pen seemed great for erasing nail polish mistakes as I attempted to polish my nails like a professional. It is pen shaped, slightly chubby, with a very hard felt tip. The pen comes with three replacement tips. The idea is to use it around the outside of the nails or wherever polish lands errantly. I often polish my nails and go "outside the lines" so I was excited about this pen.

Well, I am no longer excited. The first time I used it, the very hard tip seemed to have issues getting nail polish remover on it. It was barely moist and I had to literally erase the polish from the side of my finger. The second time, the tip was dry. I shook the pen and tried again. Nothing. I changed the tip but still got nothing. I decided to stick the tip in nail polish remover and just use it that way and it actually sort of works like that. Since, I have managed to get some remover from the tip on and off but I am definitely disappointed in this pen. It doesn't seem like a very difficult concept to me and I have seen similar pens that apparently work fine. Why Bath & Body Works couldn't get it right is beyond me. This pen was $6.00 for one ounce and would have been great for travel and every day manicures but it was a bust. Now I just dip the tip into nail polish remover and use it that way. I could do the same with a Q-Tip! Frustrating.

My Viewpoint

It seems simple enough. The nail polish remover flows onto the felt tip and I erase little manicuring mistakes. But I guess Bath & Body Works didn't test this pen out very well before putting it up for sale. It simply doesn't work well, if at all, and it's a big waste of money. 1 star.
