Bath and Body Works Relax Eucalyptus Spearmint Sugar Scrub Review

About six years ago, I was going through a really bad time in my life.  My parents were divorcing after 25+ years, my boyfriend and I broke up, and I started my first teaching job in an inner-city setting.  I was a big old mess and tried many different products in an attempt to calm down and relax my mind.  One of the products I tried in my quest for peace was the Eucalyptus Spearmint Sugar Scrub by Bath & Body Works, 

This exfoliating sugar scrub is part of the company's "Relax" aromatherapy line of products.  It contains sugar, eucalyptus oil, spearmint, and other essential oils.  You need to mix up the sugar and oils in this scrub before each use as they separate over time.  I usually just run my finger through it a bit and then scoop out a bit to use on my body.  Bath & Body Works Relax Eucalyptus Spearmint Sugar Scrub spreads easily across skin, but the high oil content causes it so slip off quickly and land on the bottom of the tub.  That tends to make the tub a bit slick so you need to use care when you use it.

This sugar scrub does an excellent job of scrubbing and exfoliating skin.  The oils also leave skin softened and hydrated enough that I can simply towel off after a shower and get dressed without worrying about slathering myself in a moisturizing lotion or cream.  In addition to the wonderful exfoliating and hydrating action, the Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint Sugar Scrub smells absolutely DIVINE! The aromatherapeutic blend is very comforting and relaxing to me and I love the fact that the scent lasts on skin for many hours after use.  If I could afford it, I'd use the shampoo, conditioner, body oil, candle, air freshener, and all of the rest of the items in the line.  Unfortunately, it is difficult enough to afford just this body scrub at $30 per 16 ounce jar.  I only use it once or twice a week, so the jar lasts me between two and three months. 

This Eucalyptus Spearmint Sugar Scrub is probably one of my absolute favorite bath/shower products.  It provides strong exfoliation, it leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated, and the lovely aromatherapeutic fragrance truly relaxes me and soothes my stress.  It isn't practical for daily use, but I love using this relaxing sugar scrub every now and then as a treat or when I am feeling stressed.  Recommended!
