Bath and Body Works Gentle Foaming Hand Soap Review

This is fantastic hand soap.  What makes it especially nice is the cucumber melon scent.  It's a light fragrance that immediately makes me relax.  Talk about aroma therapy in a bottle.  For me, the moment I smell this hand soap, the tension begins to disperse.  The fragrance is appealing without being too flowery or overpowering.  It is a light scent with a slightly sweet undertone.

The bottle contains a pretty light green liquid, visible through the sides of the clear plastic bottle.  Just press down on the top pump to release a stream of foaming soap.  A little of this soap goes a long way, too!  You don't need to press down on the pump hard for a small frothy squirt to land in the hand.  This soap has amazing foaming action, and the scent lingers in the air and on the skin for awhile after use.

I keep this bottle in the bathroom so that it is available for washing one's hands.  The gentle foaming action does a good basic cleaning job.  However, I don't use this hand soap after I have worked in the garden.  My hands are usually filthy with garden dirt that has become ground into the skin and under the fingernails.  That type of ground-in dirt requires a heavier duty soap and a brush to convince the stubborn dirt to leave the fingernails and small creases in the skin.

This soap has not irritated our skin.  It rinses clean and leaves the skin feeling soft.

This Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon Foaming Hand Soap is lasting a long time.  I'm careful not to waste the soap.  A small squirt is plenty to create lots of suds.  The bottle says to keep this soap out of the reach of children and to contact a poison control center immediately if it is swallowed.  I make sure to stash this soap out of sight when little hands are visiting the house.  I have a feeling the children would enjoy the way this liquid soap foams way too much and waste it with repeated pressing of the pump top.  Plus, why chance them swallowing it!
