About Bath & Body Works Goldie Lip Gloss

I buy the full sized tubes which are are rectangular long tubes with a white cap. They sell for $14.00 normally but there is usually a sale to make the price lower. This lip gloss has been a mainstay of mine for a long time. Brownie. It was my color. It went with everything. It sunk into my lips and looked beautiful. There wasn't a lot, if any shimmer. It was...glorious. Although I still have some left, I went to order more and saw, to my horror, that Brownie was not being offered. Instead, the shade choices were: Baby, Blossom, Clean Sheets, Doll, Naked, and Velveteen. I searched the net. It was only on eBay. My beloved Brownie is now up for auction.

Anyway, this gloss is really good stuff. It has a sponge tipped applicator and a sweet scent. It glides on nicely and lasts a long time for gloss. My shade was not sheer but almost like a lipstick in color yet still very shiny. It was...glorious.

For those of you who love good lip glosses that have staying power and flatter the lips, Goldie is for you. Just don't look for Brownie. It isn't there. I feel a panic attack coming on.

My Viewpoint

Bath & Body Works Goldie Lip Gloss is a really good gloss that is heavier than typical sheer glosses and not as shimmery (at least not the one I use). It wears for a long time and even smells great. The color choices are quite limited, mostly to pinks and one shocking burgundy shade. No Brownie. I can't hold back stars from this gloss because of a change of shades so I am going with 4 stars. (OK so I held back one star. I don't know how the others perform.). It's very good gloss. I guess I had better head to eBay and fast!
