The first thing I ever tried from Bath and Body Works was this menthol lip balm, and I really, really did not like it. Applying is a huge mess; the tube gets terribly dirty and sticky every time you try to squeeze out lip balm. If you put it in your bag, everything in it gets messy. I don't like the smell at all, it smells plasticy and old, and the feel is even worse. It's like slime in a tube. It feels weird and cold on my lips and it stays on forever. My hair gets stuck it in and I can't open my mouth because the balm sticks to itself and looks horrible. I wanted to get rid of it right away, so I don't know if it protects from chapping or hydrates lips or anything. It probably does, but it's severely unpleasant. Plus, it's very pricey for just a tube of regualr lip balm. The quality was totally not worth the price.

Bottom line - smelly, messy, gooey, pricey, gross. Will not be buying again.

Nice tint and flavor

By

from San Antonio, TX

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint:

I haven't used this product in a couple years because I suddenly became allergic to all forms of chapstick and lipgloss (which is a great tragedy, as I was a connoisseur of all types of lip products), but before that sad event, C.O. Begelow Mentha Lip Tint products, purchasable at Bath and Body Works stores, were some of my favorite novelty lip products. I had two different colors: one was a darker red and the other was a rosy pink, but since they were just tinted and not gloss, the colors were subtle and just enhanced the natural color of my lips. The gloss is shiny and has a thin consistency, so take care not to put on too much at a time. Application is easy with the squeeze tube, and the product glides on. It is flavored very strongly of mint, which is usually a good thing. The only thing about it that I found slightly lacking was that it wasn't as moisturizing as some of my other lip balms, but I still like this product and recommend it.

Favorite Things winner!

By

from Cicero, IN

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint:

Our group had a Favorite Things gift exchange. This was the product I won. At first, I thought, "Oh great, another comestic"...until I put it on. The mentha lip gloss is amazing. It's cool, tingly and refreshing on your lips. I have the pink tint color which looks great for running errands or going into town. The perfect shade of light pink and gloss looks natural - and is a treat to put on your lips. There are several different shades of glossy tinted colors, pure gloss or chap stick versions. You can wear it alone or over lipstick. The non-gloss chap stick would also be appropriate for men. I think I'm slightly addicted to applying it. I also have a mentha chap stick (same brand) that I also apply at night. These products make great stocking stuffers or small gifts. If you haven't tried this, do your lips a favor and treat them! These lip tints can also be found at Bath & Body Works stores.

Minty, and pretty with a hint of color

By

from Bloomington, IN

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint:

I really like Bath and Body Works CO Bigelow Mentha lip tent lip glosses. Bath and Body Works has been carrying these for a while now and I have become hooked. I first tried them because they were advertised as having mint oil that will freshen your breath while leaving your lips shiny. It is like doing two jobs in one. Initially these were only sold in clear, which are nice. However, I was really excited when they started carrying these with tints. They are great. They have a pretty wide variety of colors, and I specifically like the light pink one. The tint is subtle and not over powering. The only thing I do not like about this lip gloss is sometimes it leaks out and the cap area can get really gooey and sticky. It isn't sticky and gooey on your lips, but it seems like it squeezes out extra in the cap and leaks out sometimes. I have only had this happen a couple of times, but overall this is a good gloss.

Gives a lovely color while treating my dry lips

By

from Cayce, SC

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint:

I really do love my Bath and Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint. I get a lot of benefits all rolled into one. The ointment leaves my lips feeling refreshed, and nice and cool-tingly feel. I love that they are getting good treatment while I am also getting the benefits of a really pretty lip color. I don't like my lips to look too over done. Especially when they are chapped, it just really looks bad. But, this light color that I get while healing my lips is the bomb! Plus, there's a great shine to them. So, it's like getting a chapstick that really works, with the added benefit of a light lipstick, and then the lip gloss on top of that! How can you go wrong? And, there's more benefits, too. It's got a subtle peppermint or mint flavor to it. The only problem with that, is that I am somewhat constantly licking my lips now, and then have to reapply more often! Which isn't bad, since the price isn't too high!

Bath & Body Works C.O. bigelow mentha lip tint is the bomb

By

from Fort Smith, AR

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint:

Bath and Body works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip tint is another one of Bath and Body works fabulous Bigelow products! I absolutely love the Mentha line and this is no different. It has a wonderful feel, a little sparkle, and it tingles on my lips and makes them look fantastic, helps me breath a little better, and always keeps me looking an d feeling fresh, for a very low price, especially when on special deals. These lip tins are to die for and must have for any non high matience person, or maybe someone who is but likes natural colors. I don't feel I need to be applying a lot, it's a nice minty flavor, there are nice hues, and it has a long lasting beautiful shine to it. I hate lipstick and this is nice instead. The Bath & body works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip tint is really the bomb and every girl should have one of these, or at least give it a try, way better than name brands and it has the bath and body works quality.

YUM! Mentha Lip products are fantastic!

By

from Geneva, NY

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint:

I have tried the entire line of CO Bigelow Mentha lip shines and tints, I believe!  Overall, whe applied with a careful hand they are beautiful, universally flattering and delicious!  They definitely can get too sticky and excessively glossy if over applied.  If you apply lightly to moderately, you do not need to use a mirror, even with the tinted glosses.

The tints are all very pretty and flattering, and I think that almost anyone could wear any of the shades.  None of them are overly bright, dramatic or weird.  I also appreciate that you can get a variety of strengths of the mentha/mint.  I like it nice and strong but I would give my daughter the milder version to try.

The flavor is very minty and just sweet enough not to be gross.  This is a good product for all day, every day use.  It could be used alone or over lipstick (especially the clear shine) and I think it is pretty moisturizing.

C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint makes my lips look great!

By

from norwood, OH

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint:

Great product for a great price. While it doesn't heal chap lips (it doesn't claim to, by the way), it definitely feels good on chapped lips. The minty tingle factor plays a roll in relieving chapped lips. The flavor is kind of nice too, though it's kind of hard to stop licking your lips. The amount of tint that it gives your lips, in my opinion, is perfect... subtle, but noticeable. The shine, while definitely not subtle, is not too much that you look like a middle schooler who just bought her first lip gloss. Also, because there's not a ton of color added to your lips, it can go with any make up look, and make your lips look beautiful without distracting from, say, really fancy eye makeup that you spent hours applying. The only thing I don't like about this product, and really, this is my own problem, not their's, is that when you carry it around in your pocket, the lid comes unscrewed very easily, which can result in a big mess. This is a problem easily solved by not putting it your pocket.

Bath and Body Mentha Lip Tint Shines and Freshens Breath

By

from Saint Anthony, ID

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint:

Looking for something new and unique to try, I picked up Bath and Body Works Mentha Lip Tint and became a fan instantly! I don't wear lipstick so this lip tint was a way to give my lips extra shine and color with the bonus of giving my breath an added boost of freshness. After applying the lip tint, I licked my lips to  get a refreshing taste of mint that lasted a lot  longer than I expected.

I liked that there was many tint colors and flavors to choose from just in case mint was not your favorite. But, if you are one who goes for minty flavored gum instead of the fruity stuff, the mintha lip tint is for you! The value is good considering that it only takes a little drop to do your whole lips and the tube is pretty long.

The cons to this product are: it can have a sticky texture after wearing it for an hour or so if you put too much on. It also tends to be messy if you put too much pressure on the tube when squeezing it. Overall though, I  would definitely recommend giving it a try!
