Cooling Lip Shine With All the Moisture

By

from USA

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine:

This is my overall favorite lip gloss/chap-stick ever! This stuff is amazing. If you are anything like me you can't help but end up tasting your lip gloss after you put it on and let me tell you this stuff tastes pretty good granted I do realize I should not be tasting it. It smells like candy canes which is what it also tastes like. Along with that it keeps your lips shiny and moisturized. This stuff has replaced any chap-stick I have ever used. I put this over my lipstick to give it that nice shiny look with a pop of color. CAN NOT GET ENOUGH OF IT!

Nice gloss

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine:

I went through a period of time when I was a teenager (and slightly after) when I thought Bath and Body Works products were the ultimate status symbol (well, the most ultimate I could afford, anyway), so I bought a lot of their products. Though I think their prices are somewhat high, I've always been pleased with the quality of their products, and Bath and Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine is no exception. I owned this one (which is straight lip gloss with no color) and two tinted mentha products, and I liked them all. I preferred the ones with tint slightly more than this one because the colors were fairly subtle but still gave my lips a little boost. The Lip Shine, though, is still a good product. Strongly minty, sweet tasting (which did weird me out a little), and very glossy. The consistency is a bit thin, so don't overdo it or it will run. I felt the moisturizing properties were a bit lacking, but it was a great gloss.

Love this!

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine:

I did not think that I would really like this when I say it because i am never really a fan of anything from Bath and Body Works. I finally decided to try it because I have head some good reviews about it. First off, it is very minty. The person at the store told me that it is suppose to freshen your breath as you lick it off you lips but I just cringe at the idea of that. Who wants to eat their gloss? This applies on very nicely and it actually is not as sticky as it looks. This is slightly mositurizing but I would not rely on it for chapped lips. The only problem I have with this product is the packaging. After a few uses, I find that a bunch of nasty stuff collects around the applicator and the top. So that's a point off for packaging.

Bath and Body Works Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine is great!

By

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine:

I tried this on the recommendation of a friend. I was always more of a Blistex fan but she suggested that I try it because of the way that it adds shine without adding the white glaze. This does an excellent job of that. It adds just the right amount of shine and does such a good job at conditioning my skin. It's great whether my lips are chapped or not, and has really helped keep me from having dry and cracked skin around my lips.

This also has a great taste and smell. Just minty enough that it works great to cover up "foodie" breath after a meal, but doesn't have enough of a taste that you can't eat or drink while wearing it. I've had that problem with lots of fruity flavored lipglosses and was concerned that this would have that affect. It truly does not.

The other thing that I really love about this is that it doesn't seperate. Blistex is wonderful, but you have to sort of knead the tube every once in awhile so that it isn't watery when it comes out. I've never had that issue with this and a tube lasts a LONG time!

Overall I would recommend this product to anyone, but especially as a chapstick replacement.

Mentha Lip Shine is by far in my top 3 favorite lip wear: yummy!

By

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine:

**Bath & Body Works Mentha Lip Shine **is one of my favorite lip products especially during the wintertime. It's a 3 in one lip moisturizer that really delivers what it promises: incredibly moisturized/hydrated lips, long-lasting breath freshening while providing a yummy, cooling, minty sensation.

**Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine **not only keeps my lips feeling refreshed and tingly cool, but it also does a fantastic job of moisturizing my lips in the harsh winter weather. I use several lip glosses in the **C.O. Bigelow Line **and they all do a fantastic job. I love that its super shiny, but not thick and goopy, also not to thin or runny - **Mentha Lip Shine **goes on with a nice consistency! I use this in the day time over my lip stains and it really helps to keep my lips from drying out from those ultra drying products. This can also be worn under or over your lipsticks or tints for an extra glossy finish. I also like to apply** Mentha Lip Shine **or another gloss from the **Bath & Body Works C.O. **line just before I go to bed to give my lips a hydro boost - it really works. This little tube goes a long way and the** Mentha Lip Shine **formula stays on my lips until I lick it off....it's true, I find myself sampling my gloss unintentionally, sort of! OOPS! LOL

**Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine **is "fragrance-free, contains active levels of therapeutic apothecary ingredients, contains no artificial colorants, and is not tested on animals". Made in the USA!!!

C.O. Bigelow mentha lip shine really...well.. shines!

By

from Greensboro, NC

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine:

I'm starting to notice that a lot of my reviews start out "I had a coupon".  So I don't risk you wondering who I am:I had a coupon.  It was for a free lip item with a purchase from Bath and Body Works.  I sauntered my way over to the lip stuff counter and randomly selected the C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine.   Since I'm a big fan of spearmint, I figured I couldn't go wrong.

I was so right! This stuff tastes great.  You really will want to eat it out of the tube, but try to fight that feeling.Because it was a lip shine, I was expecting it to just be glossy and not do a whole lot else, but wow, it's really helped hydrate my lips, especially in this awful winter weather! It's not sticky, so no worries that your lips are going to snag dust motes out of the air or anything like that. I don't wear lipstick because I hate the feeling of the stuff.  This made me feel like I was doing something a little extra, making myself a little more fancy, without the bulky, gunky feeling of lipstick. It's as light as a feather!

It's definitely worth picking up!

Bigelow Cinnamint Lip Shine smells and tastes great.

By

from Fort Wayne, IN

Comments about Bath & Body Works C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine:

I received the Bath and Body Works C.O. Bigelow Cinnamint Lip Shine as a Christmas gift one year.  It was all the way at the bottom of my stocking and I almost didn't see it.  I'm glad I did find it however because it has been the best lip gloss I have ever had.  It is a thick gloss that goes on smoothly and provides all day shine and smell.  I prefer the Cinnamint scent because it helps my breath to smell clean yet sweet and spicy.  The Cinnamon and Mint-infused lip balm provides a glossy high shine with a refreshing cooling sensation. Lips stay moist and protected while Cinnamon and Peppermint give breath long-lasting freshness.  My 2 year old daughter at the time got it out of my purse and squeezed it all over her lips and face, emptying the tube.  I quickly missed my every day shiny and great smelling lips.  Needless to say I went to Bath and Body Works and quickly stocked up on more.  They usually do a great deal of buy 2 get 1 free or something as well, making it affordable.
